Emp-
How/why did you decide to do the Paxton over the Whipple? How about posting some sound clips? I understand that in reality, 465 -vs- 500, etc does not really matter too much on a street machine.
I like the tradition of Shelby using the Paxton, and I like the ability to keep the strut brace. However, I also like the prospect of 500hp as opposed to 465, and am not sure about the need to change the oil in the Paxton, so I am really sitting on the fence.
Perhaps some sound clips of the Paxton as well as some from the Whipple can help us (currently challenged) to decide...
Thanks,..

This is from the paxton page you quoted, "*Supercharged horsepower and torque data shown is a calculated estimate based on percentage increases from actual rear wheel hp/tq measurements.", and yes it is rear wheel horsepower figures. I know, I have one and had it on the dyno.

NICE !!!! Man I am blown away by your car. I hate to sound lame but i didnt know that Shelby has that option. That car you have is kick ass. May i ask how much you spent on it total. Any one have a good resource(ie link) on this I may consider an upgrade to the sc for my car. ENJOY IT !!!
Those black Razor's are killer, I must have missed them the first time I saw your post. What a great looking car, I plan on making the same changes through the RI Mod Shop. Enjoy that beautiful car!
