I have an 04 Cobra Svt with a two-toned paint job ( black and stock screaming yellow black on top).  It has a black widow body kit, hood and wing www.grounddesigns2000.com and a roof scoop.  I also have 5zigen rims and goodyear F1 rubber.  If you guys wanna say it looks like a ricer thats fine but its got mods to beat an sr-10 and zo6 and im looking to drop a 351 like the cobra R in it just because i love it so much. and i want it to have a unique look.

STEEDA MAKES A WING "SPOILER" THAT IS FUNCTIONAL. Check that out.  Usually body kits are for looks only.  But hoods carbon fiber are lighter, some have blower functionality which helps if your putting a blower on, ram air..... But please dont add a blower hood on your car unless you actually plan on putting a blower on.  We have a guy here who cut a hole through his hood and pasted on a blower about 3 ft high and its fully stock...the same one with the cobra above the gt emblems freakin idiot.

You can get intake functionality right infront of your car in the bumper...it looks like a round hold....  But some wings are actually functional and some are for looks the black bolt on solar panel looking metal wings are s**tty dont use it.
go for power first  then do looks but you dont want your car looking like s**t when your driving it

sleepers kick as* allways nice pulling up to a light seeing a honda and kicking thier as* so many honda onwers talk smack
P.S.  Sleepers do kick ass I would rather have a v6 emblem the running pony with the red and white and blue flag behind it then the gt.  People look at the emblems on the car to reconize the car.  If a car comes up thinking he is bad ass and he sees a v6 emblem on there he will think for sure win then come back and whoop his ass.  I have v6 emblem on my gt and then I have a v6 emblem on my v6.... I didn't put any vinal on the bumber on the v8 either that way it is harder to read it especially at night.  I have always love sleeper cars and what not like the buick reveria's old people cars but they have a 5.0 and 5.7 engines in there, ofcourse they are boats and you need anchors to stop them and those engines are ment to pull all that weight they still had them.

Anyways all my stickers for my mods are under the hood on the plastic above the electric fan.  The electric fan cover.  It looks completely stock...just doesn't sound it.  I dont like showing off what I have I like to try and not make them so scared to race me. lol

I am, that car is f***ing smoking man. If i could afford it i would buy a new mustang but that black widow kit on it, with side exhaust. looks soooooo f***ing nice. and ya whatever u may think that i'm a ricer and that i'm all show no go..but thats the beauty of a mustang. As long as it's got a V-8, it's allready f***in fast. I can't wait till my car looks better, seeing as how my car is almost as old as me it needs some work. After i'm done making it look good and I'm done with all my interior/exterior stuff then i'll work on suspension, and then drop a new engine into and do that up.

engine size doesnt make body kits look any less tacky, if the kit is tacky.  i want the factory undercar spoiler for my ride, but i dont need i gaping wide mouth or huge fin.  f-that.  1.6L or 4.6L doesnt matter.  nice is nice and rice is rice.  and rice my friends is not nice.

Well we could argue about that all day...cuz there's no law against looking too good, but there is a law against speeding...if u spent that money and bought, maybe an intake for the price of a bodykit, ur not gonna be able to go a lot faster than me..except for the occasional day u go to the track. and it's not like i don't speed, but i speed smart (aka not all the time) so ya, not a waste of money

Hey 8750gt,

That Black Widow body kit is Nice.  I'm looking at that one and the Invader for my car right now,  I'm also gettign the Z3 fenders.  Some girl hit me and i'm fixing the little miner things that were bent.  But i will agree with you that they do need body kits some times.
