Just installed a 2.2L KenneBell and I am running 20 psi what kind of power do you think it is going to make on blower? Then I am adding a 100 wet shot to that and see how that goes

the 2.2 is better than the new ones .. and you can actually hear it... I predict about 600-650 rwhp on blower - 750 or on spray.. that shot is going to be killer sc'd ... you might see 800 tq

I though the 2.2's maxed around 25psi? I would say you make low 600's on blower.

No it is not 20 psi is not max on a 2.2 kennebell around 25 psi it will hold just fine and for the injectors I have 60lb and the fuel pumps I have ford gt supercar pumps with a boostapump and I am running the mafia there will be no problems with the motor I can promise u that!!!

I have the cooling mod that prevents the overheating in cylinders 7 and 8 so that shouldnt be a problem and I also have a heat exchanger and a resovior to ice it down before I race

from what ive seen the 2.2 make more power than the new version .. except maybe a little bit less than the 2.8... but the times seem about the same - and the 2.2 sounds badass... if you want more switch it up to whipple imo, or centri or turbo - but im baised

ORIGINAL: mfj okay, but don't make me that promise too fast. and i guarantee u that u will never get 25 psi out of a 2.2 kb. maybe that is what u have read, but i doubt that u have the experience that i do. the 2.2 cannot boost 25 psi. Again, what cooling mods do u have?? Guarantee u the motor will not last long like that. predictions: cylinder #7 will loose compression from damaged piston caused by localized overheating or detonation in that cylinder You must read a lot on svtperf. The cooling mod is not the great savior. If you have a detonation, nothing is going to save your pistons, no matter what kind of pistons your running. 20 psi is not the max out of a 2.2. I don't know where your getting your info from, but your wrong.

When we developed the BLOWZILLA 2200 (2.2L) kit, we felt it would satisfy 99% of our street/strip customers. Run 15-18 psi on the street and 19-24 psi at the weekend drags with race gas (octane depends on boost).
