Can you offer me some advice? I want to lower my 66 coupe 1" in the rear and 1.5" in the front.  (Would a 2" drop all the way around be a serious undertaking?)  I would like to know what size wheels and tires would fit (prefer 16" wheels), what springs to use for rear, front.  What would you recommend doing on the front (spindles, springs, etc).  I found some 1" drop leaf srpings for the rear for $100 each. I am looking to this as economically as possible.  I would prefer not to have to do any modification the the body or fenders.  I may upgrade to disc brakes in the future, that is why I am leaning toward 16" wheels.

Thanks for your help,
Clint
