Default Well after much debate...

So I was set on getting long tubes when tax returns came around...now, I am saving for my blower! I am going to get an aluminum driveshaft around Christmas time, then the saving begins! Depending on how long it takes me, and what comes out in the next few years, I am not stuck on any particular S/C. I know for a fact that I will be getting blown and not turboed! I would say two years and I will get it, but I am pretty stuck on this decision to wait for longtubes after the blower. What do yall think?

I am getting the Spydershaft...I have been spending quite of bit of time over in the S197 forums and have found out sooo much information. I even talked to a guy who runs the company as he is over in those forums. His car is N/A and runs 12.1 in the 1/4! It is supposed to give me 2/10's in the 1/4 and make the car feel much lighter (eliminating 20+lb's of rotational mass in the drivetrain). I will be installing it myself as well. It is well priced at $500 too! I would highly recommend this!

Dont worry I will be getting LT's but after the blower. There are two different diameter LT's, one for FI and one for N/A. I will be able to purchase the ones for FI after the blower and it will give me better gains. Trust me, I spent night and day the last week debating and see this the best route for me!

Aw come on! I'm about your age and saved up for it in a couple of months! Do it sooner than 2 years

And, an N/A car run 12.1? Was he on the stock motor or a built one?

I got my driveshaft over at coast driveline and am soooo glad i bought it. It's almost impossible to stall the rotational weight is so light. You'll definitely be pleased.

Haha there's a lot I do. But I got a killer deal on my setup to. I spent about 6-7k total whereas most people spend 5-6k just on the blower...

Are you serious? I have to pay off my car dude. It's hard going to college, paying off a $35K car, and saving for a $6K modification...Getting a couple jobs during the school year is where I make the money for mods while I use the money working for Nascar in the summer to pay off the car. How did you manage to save up so quickly and pay for the car being so young? TELL ME YOUR SECRETS! haha

The car is N/A and I am 95% sure his motor is not built...I'll check it out
