RULES:

ALL POSTS MADE IN THIS THREAD THAT ARE NOT A REVIEW WILL BE REMOVED. No comments or discussion here, just reviews.

Please format your review like this:

Car: 2002 Mustang GT

Part: VT stage 1 n/a cams
Pro's: great cams, nice idle, 25+ more hp, kept stock valve springs
Con's: need a tune to take full advantage and keep from stalling on occasion

Part: Nitto Drag radials
Pro's: great street tire, hooks way better than stock, descent in the rain, lasts a long time for a drag radial - have 10k miles on mine right now!
Con's: not as sticky as BFG's or Micky Thompsons

Part: Ford Motorsport 4.10 Gears
Pro's: awsome acceleration, especially 1st and 2nd gear, gas mileage barely changed, 5th gear is alot more usable now
Con's: gas mileage does get alittle lower on the highway, 1st gear traction is tough with stock tires

Part: Ford Motorsport 3.73 Gears
Pro's: better than stock, but a waste in my opinion... better get 4.10's at least or you'll be disappointed
Con's: not much better than stock, not worth changing to for most people.

Part: Strange 10-way adjustable front struts
Pro's: Awsome to be able to have a stock, drag, or road racing suspension with the twist of a dial, cheap - cost only $110 each from Jeg's. Got fox body struts since my car is lowered.
Con's: none that I could find.

Part: Steeda Sport springs
Pro's: Lowered car about an inch, stiffer handling but was still comfortable
Con's: not as low as I wanted it, swapped back out for fox body stock springs for better weight transfer at the track

Part: Mac ProChamber offroad mid-pipe
Pro's: noticable gain in performance, deep nice sounding mid-pipe
Con's: not as loud as most offroad h or x pipes... and I really prefer loud! a pro for some folks.

Part: Mac Longtubes
Pro's: noticably louder, great seat of the pants power increase, fit great
Con's: the coating on them suck, great price but they probably won't last but about 5 years before they need to be replaced.

Part: Steeda Triax shifter
Pro's: awsome feel, comfortable, 3rd gear is near impossible to miss, alot of confidence using this shifter, I've driven a Pro5.0 shifter in the same car and definately prefer the Triax
Con's: Handle not quite as short as a Pro5.0, haven't tried the new MGW. no real cons to me.

Part: Magnaflow cat-back
Pro's: probably the best power producing cat-back on the market, nice deep growl, awsome stainless steel quality and a great fit.
Con's: not much louder than stock... I'd rather give up a couple ponies and get something louder.

Part: Ford Racing 70mm throttle body
Pro's: Better than stock
Con's: Not much better than stock, shoulda went with another brand - the Ford unit is actually more like 68mm...

Part: Vortech SQ supercharger
Pro's: unbeatable performance, as reliable as stock, best purchase I ever made
Con's: expensive... but not when you compare what it would cost to make the horsepower that it does. Not much more power than stock up until you get over 3k rpms... then its a monster!

Car: 93 5.0 LX

Part: Borla Stainless Steel Catback for 5.0
Pros: Produces more power than most other catbacks, 1,000,000 mile warrentee, $80 intercooled tips, easy install, great quailty parts (clamps, flanges, welds), does not flood cockpit with noise nor does do you hear anything under the floors.
Cons: Without full exhaust is not much louder than stock, expensive ($600+), if you dont adjust the system right and have it too close to your bumper, it will easily melt the bumper since all the heat is at the tips where it should be.

Part: BBK Catted X-pipe
Pros: 2 cats instead of 4, great quality construction, very easy install, passes emissions, very considerable difference in the sound.
Cons: $100 more than a O/R mid pipe, aluminum.

Part: BBK Ceramic Coated Shorty Headers
Pros: Great difference in sound, very easy install, look awesome, contains heat well, does not discolor like chrome.
Cons: Not the cheapest of all headers ($400)

Part: BBK Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Pros: Only $100, accepts a gauge, looks great, solved my problem of the car stalling out after header install.
Cons: Decrease in gas milage, hard to get to the right pressure (if you are over like half a pound, the car will hesitate).

Car: 2003 Mustang GT

Part: Magnaflow Magnapack
Pro's: great fit, nice low deep idle tone, screams at WOT, SOTP gain, minimal interior drone
Con's: Tips occasionally loosen up, well over the legal limit for dB

Part: Magnaflow Catted X-pipe
Pro's: great fit, enhanced catback tone
Con's: Difficult to seal at the manifold

Part: C&L upper intake plenum
Pro's: great fit, nice clean appearence, super easy install
Con's: Interior is pitted from casting need to be sanded out, exterior finish is bubbly

Part: 75mm ACCUFAB Throttle Body
Pro's: great fit, nice polished appearance, factory fit
Con's: TPS can be difficult to set, attaching intake to TB can be difficult because of the size

Part: Tunable Induction full Intake
Pro's: Adds a new tone to the car, deepened exhaust system, screams above 3000rpm
Con's: Poor fit, difficult to install fender filter alone but can be done

Part: Diablo Sport Predator
Pro's: great interface, allows data logging, timing, fuel, and speedo adjustments, good SOTP gains.
Con's: Limited in ablities once power starts adding up

Part: MGW Short throw shifter
Pro's: great fit, quality is top notch, 1-2 is under 2inches with blue handle its close to 1.5 inches! , little interior noise.
Con's: Takes some muscle to shift but better as it breaks in.

Part: Ford Motorsport 4.10 Gears
Pro's: great acceleration, especially 1st and 2nd gear, 5th gear is alot more usable now
Con's: gas mileage does get alittle lower on the highway, 1st gear traction is tough with stock tires

Part: Ford Motorsport Support Girdle
Pro's: Fit and finish is top nocth, allows for draining and filling of Diff fluid without removing
Con's: Clearance issues on lowered cars (gas lines and trunk) can be made to fit with some love taps

Car: 1989 Mustang GT

Part: Mac 1 5/8 unequal shorty headers
Pro's: Not too expensive, Installation is easy if you have the right tools.
Con's: It is hard to tighten the headers down due to the pipes being very close to the bolts. Coating sucks (these were not ceramic coated)

Part: Mac O/R 2.5" H-pipe
Pro's: Solid & Durable, I've bottomed out several times with only a few minor scrape & dents in the pipe. Great sound.
Con's: Hangs low. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to put this on a lowered mustang.

Part: Ford Motorsport X303 Camshaft
Pro's: Fair idle, big torque & hp to 6200rpm. Used & still using OE valve springs
Con's: None found yet.

Car: 1988 Mustang GT

Part: Pro 5.0 shifter
Pro's: Much shorter shifts than stock, can hit third much easier than with a Steeda Tri-Axe
Con's: Sucks to have to remove the center console to install the shifter

Part: Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back
Pro's: Louder more aggressive tone that with the Delta 40's
Con's: was hard to setup the spacing on the tailpipes and one pipe kept hitting the frame till i adjusted it correctly

Part: Ford Motorsport "Super Sport Springs"
Pro's: Lowered the car just the right amount about an inch, and didnt need CC plates to realign.
Con's: dont have any

Part: Kenny Brown Sub Frame Connectors
Pro's: Car was much more solid after the install, rode a lot better
Con's: They require Butt welding them to the frame which isnt as strong as the one that require welding up higher to secure them

Part: Spec Stage 1 clutch
Pro's: Very light pedal more so than the King Cobra I had Before
Con's: 500 miles break in sucks! thats why I only did about 150

Part: Ford Motor Sport Ceramic Coated Shorties
Pro's: The finish has still held up for over a couple of years, and I noticed a power increase over stock
Con's: They are a little steep in prise a little over 300$

Part: 50resto t-5 rebuild kit
Pro's: It got my tranny back to working order
Con's: Didnt come with directions and it didnt come with the same amount of parts like the D&D kit. The price was more than the one D&D sells and theres comes with directions

Car: 1991 Mustang LX

Part: BBK Long tube headers and Offroad H-pipe
Pro's: Great headers, made the car sound like a beast and the power increase was substantial.
Con's: It was a little time consuming to install those headers but worth it in the end.

Part: Autogage 5" tach w/shift light
Pro's: Great tach for a great price, install was a sinch.
Con's: None.

Part: Mega-Bite Jr. lower control arms
Pro's: Best control arm on the market, dual settings are available with it. Makes the car launch like a rocket.
Con's: Kinda hard to install, requires a 100ft-lbs minimum impact socket gun (to loosen the stock bolts) which I did not have :) You'll need multiple jackstands and a really big hammer for these puppies.

Part: Granatelli Double adjustable upper control arms
Pro's: Made the rearend MUCH more responsive, then again they were installed with the mega-bites. The combination is outstanding though.
Con's: None, install was rather easy.

Part: Kirban Adjustable fuel pressure regulator and gauge
Pro's: Fine tuning of the fuel pressure made easy.
Con's: None.

Part: Adjustable Pinion snubber
Pro's: Very easy to install, takes 5 minutes and helps control the pinion angle.
Con's: When mine is in race position it makes the ride a little bumpy.

Part: GT40E Intake Manifold
Pro's: Great manifold, a lot of power can be freed up with one of these. This manifold in particular can flow boost very well too.
Con's: Since mine came off of an explorer, some of the EGR and sensor bungholes are not there. I don't care about EGR or the sensors but some people do, this can be problematic.

Part: C&L 73mm MAF
Pro's: Freed up lots of power, install was a breeze.
Con's: C&L MAF's tend to be tempermental and don't like air turbulence.

Part: BBK 70mm Throttle Body and EGR spacer
Pro's: Freed up some more power.
Con's: None.

Part: Lakewood 50/50 Drag shocks
Pro's: Helps with launching and weight transfer, very noticeable.
Con's: Shocks still seem a little to stiff, maybe it's just me.

Part: PTP 3.73:1 Rear Gears and Richmond master rearend rebuild kit
Pro's: GEARS RULE!
Con's: I didn't install them so I wouldn't know.

Part: Summit brand harmonic balancer
Pro's: Cheap and easy to install with the puller. Reduces vibrations by a whole lot.
Con's: Starting to rust so I'm thinking of painting it. Can't re-use stock bolts if you have underdrive pulleys. You'll need to search for the right length bolts.

Part: Prothane engine mounts
Pro's: Great mounts, makes the torque transfer to the wheels much more responsive and reduces vibrations.
Con's: Loosening the motor mount bolts was hard without the impact wrench.

Part: Energy Suspension Transmission mount
Pro's: Reduces vibration.
Con's: To install requires some filing of the tranny crossmember.

Part: MSD 6AL Ignition box
Pro's: Helps gas mileage and idle.
Con's: You don't feel this mod in the seat of your pants, it's one of those mods that does help all around though.

Part: Autospecialties Underdrive pulley set
Pro's: Easy to install and instant power gains.
Con's: You might have a problem charging your battery if you have a big sound system with a stock alternator.

Car: 2001 Performance Red Musatng GT
(In chronological order)

Gloss black rear fascia letter inserts
Pros: the price (5 bucks shipped!) and they really tied together the rear bumper cover, durable
Cons: none

C&L engine bay CAI / tru flow 80 mm maf.
Pros: Woke up the engine a bit
Cons: paying for install that turned out to be ****ty! MAF probably did jack ****...but she'll see a blower when the time is right

American Automotive Carpet Tri-Color Running Pony Floor Mats.
Pros: not gonna even get into the install lol...gave the interior a much needed accent
Cons: the price! (good thing it was for xmas! lol) I have to clean my shoes off before I go in my car lol

FRPP Bullit Race Pedals.
Pros: sweet holiday deals! looked sweet with the floor mats!
Cons: General difficult install (Dead Pedal: stock wouldn't come out! new one didnt want to go in!; Brake Pedal: had to boil to get it on and even then it was difficult to install; Accelerator Pedal: had to take out entire pedal assembly and getting the pin that holds the pedal on out and putting it back)

Magnaflow Magnapack Cat-Back Exhaust System.
Pros: absolutely amazing tone!!! absolutely perfect sound! not too loud and not too quiet!
Cons: HAH yeah right!

Sylvania Silverstar Headlamp Bulbs.
Pros: Easy install and a nice improvement over stock
Cons: some people think my high beams are on

Mach 1 Chin Spoiler.
Pros: really brings a bland front end together...one hell of an aggressive look....worth the install
Cons: ****ty hardware (decided to use 1/4 inch 20 thread screws with nylon threaded nuts...this bitch aint comin out!!) one horrible bitch of an install

Denso Iridium Spark Plugs.
Pros: no need to gap . install wasn't as hard as I feared it would be . started up smoother and just ran a litte smoother and felt cleaner.
Cons: install isn't hard but sure is time consuming for a 16 year old such as myself. anti-seize took days to get off my hands. being so nervous the car wouldn't start! EDIT: then the one in cylinder three ejected itself...requiring a new head and coil to the tune of 2 grand yikes! never again

Mach 1 Grill delete (2 Peice).
Pros: Incredibly aggresive look added to the front....completes my front end mods
Cons: Almost painful to install! Had to "carefully bend the fender peice attached to the grill forward to unbolt the stock grill!!! 4 count em 4 METAL botls holding the ****ing stock grill on there! Not having screws to hold the pony on there from the stock grill peice. However if this does happen you can use two of the four metal bolts that held the old grill on as bolts to hold the pony on.

50% Headlight and Tailight and Sidemarker and Foglight tint.

Pros: Pretty easy install...squeegeing the water out and getting to lie flat is a little frustrating but pretty easy...looked absolutely amazing!
Cons: Pissed my Dad off so I had to take them off after 2 days!! Never got to use the sidemarker and fog light tint!

FRPP 17x8 Anthracite Bullit Wheels.
Pros: No more ****ty base model wheels. Looks awesome. Has a nice subtle, stock but mean look to it. Completely changed the look of the car for the better!
Cons: Old wheels had a center cap so I have to buy chrome lug nuts...no fault of the new wheels tho!

SCT Xcal II flash tuner.
Pros: Even with the 87 octane tune it did wonders for the car! Made the exhaust sound meaner. Nicer idle. Smoother right. Tighert throttle w/ better response. Incredible acceleration! Tightened up the tranny!
Cons: The new first gear shift point takes a little getting used to....but it's so ****in worth it!

UPR Bullit lock Soldiers, A/C Knobs, Hadelight Knob
Pros: Everything looks great! The interior really has some styling to it now. All around easy install as well.
Cons: Old headlight knob is a bitch to get off. Had to use a hack saw to cut it off! The new one goes on easily tho. This stuff can be a bit pricey but hey everything costs money right?

Professional Products 75mm Throttle Body and Plenum combo
Pros: Meaner exhaust tone. Bit of a jump in power. Nice engine bay bling as well since I went with the polished version.
Cons: Expected more from it. Oh well. It was still worth it in my opinion.

FRPP Dual A-Pillar Gauge Pod w/Oil Pressure and Water Temp. Gauges
Pros: Looks bad ass. Fun to drive with. Far more accurate then the stock dashboard gauges. Illuminate at night.
Cons: Installation costs were a tad high but I still say it was worth it

Ebay White Face Instrument Cluster Gauges
Pros: LOTS Cheap: $24.00 shipped; Easy to install: 45 minutes including time to gether tools and such; Looks: SICK! and they match the a-pillar gauges now too!
Cons: none to speak of!

Goodyear Eagles 245/45/17 (died now)
Pros: Good dry performance, not spectacular, but good.
Cons: Sucked balls in any form of even minor inclement weather. Didnt last long.

BF Goodrich KDWS 245/45/17 (installed 3/1/08)
Pros: Better traction in  both dry and wet weather
Cons: none yet

Steeda Tri-Ax shifter
Pros: Good, smooth short shifts. Never miss 3rd! Easy 20min install!
Cons: More noisy than stock, only 2 adjustible posistions for the shifter handle.

Steeda Racewing
Pro: Good look, easy install.

Pros: Good gains when coupled with catback. Sound is really deep, like a true musclecar.
Cons: PITA install on pass side header to midpipe bolts.

Steeda Cat-back
Pros: No drone, deep sound.
Cons: None (for me)

FRPP 17x8 Black Bullitts
Pros: Looks great
Cons: Shoulda got DD for the rear

Diablosport Tuner
Pros: good gains, adj alot of stuff on the ECU, clear troublecodes, change idle speed, timing, gear ratios, tire/rim sizes, turn off trac control and rear o2 sensors.
Cons: Limited, most Dyno's tune with SCT, so the Diablosport is wasted.

Car: 2003 Mustang GT 4.6  (5spd vert)

Part- Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust.
Pros- Fairly easy install. Gives the car that Mustang sound.
Cons- None. I love this exhaust

Part- BBK Cold Air Intake
Pros- Fairly simple install. Gives the car a nice growl on initial take-off
Cons-Installing the cone in the fender well can be a little tricky by yourself.

Part-Bassani X-pipe with hi flow cats
Pros-Rounds out that great Mustang sound, and sounds great with the American Thunder Exhaust and cold air intake. Car really growls at 4k RPM, and has a nice rumble at idle now.
Cons-The right side header nut can be a pain in the rear without a semi-deep socket on a swivel. I learned the hard way about that. That was the only hang up on installing this part.

Car: 1996 Mustang GT

Part: Flowmaster 40's CB
Pro's: gives you that classic mustang sound, nice and deep
Con's: not very loud compared to the stock, just "noticeable" difference.

Part: JLT Ram Air Intake
Pro's: works alot better than the stock and keeps the air alot cooler with the 4" piping.
Con's: comes with such a crappy heatshield that heatwrap / cai adator is necessary if you dont want to suck in hot air.

Part: Eibach Pro Kit (Convertible)
Pro's: definitely stiffer, relatively no "nose dive" when braking, drops the car roughly 1.2-1.5"
Con's: didn't lower the car that much compared to many other brands that claim 1.5" drop, removing isolators up front is almost necessary to make eibach's look good.

Part: Full PI Swap (H/C/I) Windsor
Pro's: Definitely one of the best bang for your bucks on the underpowered SN95's. definitely 50 or so hp difference and tq is very noticeable.
Con's: compression is bumped to 10.5:1 therefore can't run higher than 8psi of boost "safely".

Part: Accufab 75mm Mirror Finished Throttle Body & Plenum
Pro's: definitely show worthy, way better throttle response compared to stock and will yield greater #'s with boost.
Con's: expensive for price compared to other brands that almost put out the same hp/tq.

Part: Magnaflow Catted Tru-X X-Pipe
Pro's: noticable gain in performance, alot louder than stock, but a bit more raspy than deep.
Con's: not the deep sound that some people look for and also expensive for name brand. another bad thign was the bracket to hang on the middle of the midpipe was off by about 6"s so its hanging right now...

Car: 2004 Mustang GT
Part: MGW Short-throw Shifter

Pros: Very solid construction.  Road noise is nonexistent and shifts are unbelievabley short, even with the orange shift handle.
Cons: None other than the MGW inner dust boot was a bitch to put on, and left my knuckles torn up.
