Congrats to our good friend Ken Tingle who went 9.84@141.11 this weekend on blower only. Ken runs a complete stock 03 Cobra longblock, 6 speed and a 3.4L Whipple. Ken's been running better and better as he adjusts to the new blower and suspension setup. Unfortunately his shortblock finally took a dump the pass after his 9.84 one. No worries though as we'll see Ken up and running again shortly.
On the run after the one above his shortblock finally let go at about the 1000' mark. The car was on a pass too, went 9.81@141 laying over at the 1000' mark, car got a little out of shape when it went thru it's own oil but thankfully he was able to straighten it out and get off to the side.
Once again congrats to you Ken and we look forward to seeing you at the track again shortly. Thanks for reppin the Lethal Camp!!

Just thinking about my slicks hitting oil at the thousand foot mark makes my butthole pucker. Good job on keeping it straight, and congrats on an excellent ET.

Could you give us more information on the car? I'm guessing he didn't just put the blower on a stock car and run 9's. What kind of clutch set-up? Stage 5 half-shafts? Heat exchanger? Head cooling mod? Or if theres a link to the information on this car, that'd work too. I just bought an 03 Cobra conv. and am going to run an identical set up, but am going to be making more highway runs than 1/4 mile ones and am wondering how the internals are going to hold up.
