factory headers to aftermarket shorties??

will i notice much difference in performance or sound by going to aftermarket headers on my 95 gt convertible? the factory headers just look stupid because they have weird indentions in them.  also if anyone knows of anymore affordable power adders let me know, are custom tunes worth the money on a slightly modded mustang?

i noticed alot of difference in sound....i have dumped flows so it really made them louder....but performance wise im not sure because i put my headers cold air and off road h pipe all on at the same time...

The headers didn't make it louder, the O/R H pipe did.  I don't think you will notice any difference in sound with headers IMO
