So it was like 2 Nites after I got my 01 V6 mustang and a guy in a Dodge Ram pulled up beside me at a lite and revved his engine up at me. So in return, I crept forward and back...and when the lite turned green...it was OVA! I totally smoked him--tires were squeeling...smoke was rising--and it was soooo cool. I love the smell of burnt rubber! Woot!

i had a similiar kill. i pulled next to one at a light and i think they where on a test drive because the guy in the back had a suit on. just joking around i said hey that got a hemi? (well if your beside one it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know the differnce with the big badges on the side.) but any way i take off slow holding first gear, then he jumps on it, so i do also. man they all looked so disapointed when a put a couple cars on them within a block. I just thought it was kinda cool.

you forgot one little tiny aspect...cost. first gen lightning-7500. 351W. moddable to all hell. will run an SRT10 truck to the ground for practically nothing.

not all trucks are slow dude. thats what is cool about them its the one you never expect that are fast. like my friends truck its a 2001 gmc and he runs 14.3 pretty quick for a truck and fast enough to devistate a brand new mustang gt. some stock locking trucks are in the tens and 11's. like this four wheel drive truck on my friends forum. he launches in four wheel drive for traction then kicks it in two wheel drive and pulls 11's. pretty impressive to me for a 4000 pound truck. i hope that fag coment want directed to me jug.

I appreciate the backup from everyone by saying just because it is a truck, doesn't mean it isn't fast....I have driven a newer version of the Ram, no hemi, but it can still launch and go pretty fast. So I was pretty excited when I beat it.

There was a HUGE LIFTED 4x4 Chevy at the track last Tuesday The cab was about 4-5 feet off the ground and had like some 38's on it.. It was running 13.8..Trucks can be fast!!!!

I dont know what was done to the truck...it was a late 80's chevy... I can tell ya that it had a power glide in it as it only shifted once....I also know that it had a big block.
