How are the 22 inch rims at high speeds?

I like to push it. 70, 80 mph avg.Every time I get me a strip of open road I blow itout at
120 mph. I have to useV rated tires or the speed combined with the weight of my car will cause the tires to vibrate around 80 mph.
I like the look of the low profile wheels and I have thought about putting 20 inch rims on my car.
My concern is how well do they handle at high speeds? How durable are they?

I have 20's in front and 22's in the rear..I push my car up 120mph with no problem..they handle great..still smooth..I got a set of 20's and I drive just as fast..still no problems...when I put the stock 18's on I can feel a differents only at start..its a little faster and burns more tire..but when speeds are high I dont really feel a differents...

Oh Jesus. I have a basic silver 2001 convertible with std 16" rims. Basic. I have sworn that I would not get into any mods etc. Stated that I just wasn't that 'type of person' to my friends......but seeing such beautiful pictures like the rims and tires you have on yours. Crap I am going to have to rethink that!

ps will have to quiz you guys on size to choose, lowering etc when I do as I am a newbie.
