yep

car was sold here from colorado river ford brand new(in arizona) Car has 600 miles on it. no warrenty claims. never been to a dealership for work etc.I live in AZ as well too. He had to sell it

The car was on craigslist for about 2 months. It just sat there at 60k. then 54k then 52k etc then finally on Ebay.

Any suggestions on insurance now for explaining the "E" ???

I am with USAA the greatest company I just need to insure it for 70k etc.

For insurance, see if they will give you agreed-value coverage. Some companies use that for cars that aren't on the normal template or heavily modified cars (if they will even cover those). If you are financing, you can use gap coverage to bridge the diff between the GT amount and the actual value.

If you are a member of the Mustang Club of America you can get KILLER rates through Heacock Classic Auto Insurance. Will you put a lot of miles on it or under 3k per year? If under 3k they will classify it as a collector car, and will insure it at the agreed value. I wouldn't insure it at 70k since technically that is not what its worth anymore. Follow the laws of depreciation and insure it at what Nada values it at HIGH RETAIL. I just switched my '05 and my '85 to them and saved nearly 60%!!! And know this isn't an infomercial [8D]
