285/40/18 on a 18/9, will it fit ???

I need you guys that have done this. Will a 285/40/18 tire, fit on a 18/9" rim ??? Any help, please.

It will fit, but a 9.5" rim is recommened.....

I agree with stoenr (again [:)]) 275's are normally the max tire on a 9" rim. Jazzer
