I hate posting things like this against my own kind, but this guy was a real jerk so I had to put him in his place. I was cruising around the city with my friends Friday night, and a Silver 99+ GT from a neighboring county decided to pass me in the left lane, and while passing, did a little rev up. Well, to make a long story short, he kept dicking with me for about 10 minutes, until finally, we got caught at a light. My GT is a 2003, and it's completely stock at the moment. I know for a fact that the other GT had some kind of exhaust work done, and it was a 5-speed like mine. Light turns green, I get the holeshot, don't light em up, and to about 50 mph I pulled him about a carlength and 1/2. I hit every gear perfect, and got a great launch (wish I could do that on the track!!!) I guess this is more a story about good driving rather than the faster car, but I thought I would share that with you.

Cool!

Nothing wrong with it, I've had to shut up countless 5.0's in my area. They tend to think their 5.0's are invincible and they also forget my 4.6 came with more hp stock than the 5.0 ever did.

some of those 5.0's can be fast, for not alot of money. Wasn't there one with just a few minor things, running 14 flat. that's what the new ones pull stock isn't it? Of course the newer ones look better  And are a little faster.
