1973 mach 1

ok, here it is guys. I posted in the newbie forum the other day. went and looked at the mustang today. she is rough, but i dont think that she is beyond saving. she has the origional 351w and trans, no rear end(i assume i should be able to find this), all glass is good, will need a new rear bumper, four magnum 500's and a slightly thrashed interior. she also needs quartr patches, probably be safe to replace the fenders and new floor panels(orgionals have no holes but are pretty crusty. is eight hundred a pretty fair price. she will be sitting until spring when i can put some money into it as i am finishing up my car soon. this will be a fun cruiser for the wife and she likes the body style.

It is a true "Q" car and the vin says it was made in Dearborn. opinions please as to whether or not she should be saved or just left to rot where she sits.

Um, if it's a 351W, it isn't stock. '71-'73 all came with 351C engines.

What's the VIN? Door Data Plate info?

ok, i was told it was a w could be the cleveland, honestly i dont know te difference. vin is 3f05q195508 didnt get the door tag numbers, like i said there is no rear end in it.

It's a real deal Mach 1 , built in the Dearborn plant with the 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet. It was built about 12,849 cars before mine in the same plant. If it still has it's 4V Cleveland... it's a steal ! Look on the tops of the heads just above the lip of the valve covers... do you see a number 4 , a number 2 or nothing at all ? What's the part number on the intake ? Probably a D3ZX etc ... What kind of carb is on it ? Pics would really help too.

Buy the car, it will part out for more than 800.00. Dean

i will try to go get a picture in the next couple days. i think it could be retored. i found practically everybody panel i could possibly need for a restoration.

they make alot of parts for the early mustangs anything you cant find email the link i gave you for a rearend hes got now new old stock parts and good used parts.
