Default head gasket leak.

I just changed my heads and after about 1000 miles of pampering the motor I decided to get on it. After I got home I noticed that my pass. side head gasket is slowly leaking. It is very light and I don't know if that will be a future problem. I checked the bolts and they are right on the specs.
Do you think that it will eventually seal itself or should I use some head gasket sealer in the antifreeze. Someone told me that this happens on new head gaskets and the coolant will seal itself as the time goes on.
Please give advise.
Thanks

Not to sure on that. But I do not suggest using the sealer if you live in a cold area seeing as how it has a tendency to clog your heater core.

I heard about the clogs but I know if I flush out the sealant after the treatment, it shouldn't be a problem.
I think that i might wait and see if it will seal on its own since the leak is very light and only by the end bolt. Im just affraid that it might get worse and will have to redo the head.

most of the sealers are small metal flakes. Not exactly what I would want to have going around in my engine. Water pumps dont tend to last to long after you put the sealer in.

Were the heads brand new? If not they could of been surfaced wrong or could of been over heated.

So you guys think that waiting to see if it will seal on its own is abetter idea?
I would hate to redo the entire side again.

Yap. I even rechecked. The other side seems to be fine.
Either way I think that the coolant will probably seal around it as the time goes on. I just hope it doesnt get worse.

Check the oil dip stick to make sure you are not getting coolant in the oil. Also pull the spark plug on the back to cylinders and make sure you do not have white ash on the plugs. Coolant in the cylinder or oil shoud mean immediate corrective action.
