Juztang -> Optimum No Rinse demo video (10/9/2007 7:06:00 AM)

I always get a lot of questions on how to correctly use No Rinse.  A lot of people are really skeptical but this stuff works awesome.  Here is the first demo video I've seen on No Rinse.  I carry this in stock in 32 oz. and Gallon sizes by the way!

Well here is the video!  http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-744800996428313622

Here is the link to the No Rinse on my website http://www.obsessivedetail.com/optimum.html

Cool deal. The fact he is doing it on such an expensive car really puts me at ease.

I think I'll have to give it a try. However I only have 1 mit, looks like I need to invest in a few before I'd feel totally comfortable doing it on a black car. Think that's neccesary Justin or do I just need to relax? [8D]

Cool video!  Someone posted it on my forums this morning too.  Glad to see it out there for the peopel that are unsure about it.

I was skeptical about it also but then I took the leap of faith. I really like ONR. I use it on my black Mustang all the time. Just think. All the water you need to wash your car is in those 2 buckets. Seems crazy not using a water hose. It really works.

Dan

I use a few different mitts with the No Rinse and they all work well.  I use the chenille/microfiber mitt that I stock, a sheepskin mitt, and a chenille mitt.  The chenille mitt is the cheapest and will work fine.  If you still feel uncomfortable doing the No Rinse you can also use another bucket for your rinse water.  I do this on black cars every once in a while.

Nice Demo, do you ever need soap or give it a full wash down with a hose? Do you ever put wax on it afterwards? or do advise against wax?

Juztang -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (10/11/2007 4:21:26 PM)

No Rinse can actually replace conventional washing.  The only way you would need to wash the vehicle down with a hose is if there was a lot of mud on the vehicle.  I had a couple of trucks yesterday that had a lot of mud on the lower panels.  I spray the mud off with my pressure washer and then proceeded with the No Rinse.  It leaves the finish feeling slick and gives a just waxed look.  The polymers in the No Rinse will also prolong the protection that is already on the vehicle.  You can put wax on afterwards with no problem.

I bought a bottle about a month ago and have used it a couple times and the stuff works great. Saves me a ton of headache as I live in an apartment complex and have a dinky little hose that you have to keep feeding quarters into. Using the No Rinse works very well and saves me some change in the process! I just had to invest a little cash in a new mit and some towels. I usually take the hose and fill the bucket up, followed by spraying the car down to get some of the chunkier bugs off (FL is great for this) for good measure while trying to  get my 75 cents worth. I usually use one bucket (mostly because that's all I have) and I haven't had any problems.

I thought I would bump this back to the top.  A lot of people have been taking the No Rinse plunge and I've been getting tons of pm's and e-mails from people asking about it.  Hopefully this will help out some!

WhitePony02 -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (12/16/2007 2:14:21 PM)

What benefits does this have over conventional washing? Besides the fact that you dont need a hose other than filling up the bucket.

Juztang -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (12/16/2007 3:06:20 PM)

You don't have to worry about water dripping out of crevices and you don't get waterspots since you are doing one panel at a time and drying.  With the polymers in No Rinse you get that just waxed look and it gives a Rain X type effect on glass.  This also prolongs the life of the wax already on your vehicle.

Some of the places where I do a lot of washes, I get people asking me, did you wax my vehicle too?.... because it sure looks like it!  No Rinse leaves a great shine and a nice amount of slickness.

One last thing I like is that it is environmentally safe and is biodegradeable.  A lot of my customers like this factor too.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm having a huge sale on No Rinse right now!!!

Rdot9 -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (4/13/2008 8:46:11 AM)

Looks like some good stuff, i might have to try it out[:)]

buddy_boy8403 -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (4/19/2008 9:33:46 PM)

Can you use this on plastic trim, vinyl convertible tops, and the interior (dashboards, leather seats, etc)?

Juztang -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (4/19/2008 9:36:28 PM)

It can be used on vert tops and everything else on the outside of a vehicle, it basically takes place of conventional washing. I've heard of people using it on interiors in quick detailer form.

Is no rinse safe on stick on racing stripes and/or emblems?

Also about your Obsessive Detail Wheel Seal , is it like a wax and you apply and wipe off and it
protects the wheels from the brake residue/dust?

Yes you can use the No Rinse on your stripes and emblems.

The Wheel Seal is a sealant that is designed for wheels, it cleans, shines, and protects.  Brake dust will come off with ease.

Doommaker -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (4/27/2008 2:33:59 PM)

Wow, If you're brave enough to try it out on a Ford GT and Ferrari I might have to try it...

AJ03SVT -> RE: Optimum No Rinse demo video (4/30/2008 7:05:01 PM)

I suggest a grout sponge with ONR. It pulls the dirt out better and rinses out better.

Coincidentally enough, I had a gallon of ONR sitting on my door step when I got home from work today. [:)]
