hey hows it going.I built a 347 stroker 2 years ago and i didnt have to grind much off at all at the bottom of each cylinder sleave and i think a little where the oil pump mounts i cant remember.I used a dremel for the grinding. I relied on information from books and some articles from muscle mustangs and fast fords and also 5.0 magazine.I know that there is a new book out  called how to build big inch ford small blocks that would probably be a big help to you.The web site is www.cartechbooks.com.I hope this helps.
