GT500 owners, I need your help on that one...
A friend in Belgium has a new GT500 and want the JLT kit for the car. He faxed me some specs and I smell BS on that one...
On their web site, they stated a gain of 110/140 horses at the wheels with: Their carbon fiber induction kit, SCT tune and a pulley package.
WTF??  If it's true, we all need to jump on that!

Also who is the best supplier out there for that particular car, without touching the blower. Same components.

A big thanks in advance

I wouldn't doubt that they got that much of an increase from that package.  Hennessey Performance got a 120hp increase with a pulley upgrade, custom tuning, an intake and a stainless exhaust. Steeda also got 125 hp and 100lbs of torque from a pulley upgrade, intake and tune.  Those figures are all very possible.

From personal experience we put a 2.5" pulley on and a Steeda cold air intake with an SCT tune with SLP loud mouths and nothing else. Dyno'ed at 605rwhp and then dropped to 580.

Decided to toss all that and go with Kooks all the way back and Kenne Bell stage 2 with a few stage 3 parts to make it street able. We run around 750-790rwhp on VP106 and 93 octaine.

I would say with a good tune he could do it.

it will 100% make that power.  the 03 04 cobras make insane power on just a intake, tuner, and pulley.  cant imagine the gt500.

I would say that's about right. They would have to add Cooler Plugs.

yup.... it's true....

Dan Carlson who tuned this car is generally a conservative tuner...so I bet more would be even possible...

Oh brother, not skycam again.

For the OP, when they say pulley package, they mean a smaller supercharger pulley or over drive pulleys to increase the boost.

I got that about the pulley...  I wanted to make sure about the numbers though.
It's just my friend's not that good with English and didn't realize that the pulley was included in the deal.
Since I never owned a supercharged car (for now), I didn't want to assume instead of knowing for sure.
He needs the stuff by Oct 17 so I needed an answer quick, then I can send exactly what he wants. His car will be in some magazine over there and the photo shoot is on the 17.

How much does he want to spend? Send him Evolution Stage 4 $3,900.00 or so. I don't know how much the shipping would be but the Smile would be Priceless.

No sh#it!
I don't know about his finances, he wants to do something quick for now.
As far as shipping, I sent a complete Vortech system that I broke in 2 boxes with DHL. $450 with business discount!

I guess you know the SHM kit has pulleys for the blower? The smallest you can go is 2.5 without rubbing the snout. Do you have a 500 I could shoot you some close up pics? Your boost will go up 4-5lbs. with his pulley kit but you have to pull the stock one that's pressed on first.

I only post what I have done hands on not read. What's your BEEF with me? this is to MOOSESTANG. I happen to own cars? Get over it dude I just post info that I have been through. One thing I missed is yes on the colder plug. If you need the number I can give you the one K/B uses in his kits.
