Nels GT looks almost IDENTICAL to Tacobill's Stang. WOW
Yes, yes. You are an observant one! Thanks for your valuable input.
fairlane, I was actually hoping you'd come in and reply to that. Hahahha. You're like the custom paint & filling/welding expert around here. Lol!

Very nice....Any tip on how to fill in/cover up the small holes on the side for the emblems? $250 is what they are asking at the bodyshop for it....you got to be nuts.
Unfortuantely that price might be about accurate because of the task of either A) Repainting the whole fender or B), like fairlane said, blending the paint. Check around other bodyshops, though. See what the best is you can find.
I think you may suprised at how sheap it is to have plastic molds made and casting of plastic is cheap, you can take some sculpey and push it into the holes to get a negative, or just free carve it via machinist wax, and send the mold off to a plasic injection molder, they will have a set up fee, often a few hundred bucks and most of those place will do smallish runs in any color desired... If your interested we can talk and I can take the measurments and do the carving...as thats one of my jobs
Thanks for the kind offer! I've got a little too much on my plate at the moment, trying to manage my business and jumpstart an up-and-coming new business, while also trying to balance 'playtime' and working on the Mustang, etc..

You could replace the fenders with V6 fenders that dont have badges for what they want to weld and paint them.
No shops in my area would even do blending at all - for pretty much any cost.
P.S. - I forgot to mention that this antenna delete adds 40hp. Lmao.
Cool man... I did a lot of in-house custom stuff on my Stang. I think my 71 bullet style mirrors got me about 60 horses Those OEM ones were slowing me down big time.

My body shop only charged $175. They welded the holes closed and painted the fender, painted the mirrors, my lower grille and my CDC spoiler. The color match was perfect. I used a Metra amplified antenna and mounted it on the windshield and the reception is even better then with the original antenna.

That's exactly the kit. Toughest part is pulling the wiper arms. Instructions say you can 'tap' them. I actually used a battery post puller (looks like a small gear puller) to do mine.
Other than that it is just pushing in connectors, routing small rubber lines and attaching things to the underside of the wiper arms with 2 way tape.
how did you get the antenna wire off the metal base of the plastic piece you painted? I need to remove my fender and can't get the stuped antenna orange wire off. My antenna is like welded to the big metal base thing. Tried using vice grips to get it off but just scraped the sh*t out of it. Also you should have said that the first plastic piece has two indentions in the front and rear of it..I jacked mine up bad, now I have to buy a new one.
