First of all i find it hard to believe that your 95 will beat a 3800 series RS. secondly, you really cant beat a newer camaro becuase 2002 was the last year they were made.
But all in all, they are rated 10 horses more than a splitport mustang. I owned a 97 RS prior to my mustang and raced a few stangs and won by a hair each time.
His descriptiuon about gas mileage kinda makes me laugh, cuz the LS1 gets around 30 mpg while the RS is about 28-29

sorry I ment newer looking but I think the one I raced was a 2002. same look anyways.
about my car: I have intake, spark wire, and muffler mods to push me up to 200 horse and almost 225 lb of tourque. I also have a little weight reduction mods.
Anyways what anoyed me was that he included mustang in the title so when you search for mustang stuff, his add apears to nage at you.

Well 95 5.0s and V6s are single port, and even if it's a split port, Camaro sixes are fairly quick, I was much more impressed with a buddies Camaro V6 that was mostly stock than I was with any mostly stock mustang 94-04. He had an auto with only a tuner and that thing was pretty mean for a sixer. Comming from a person that owned a 98 V6 I can gurantee you that you DID NOT beat a 97-02 Camaro V6 unless there was something drastically wrong with the car and or he just wasn't racing.

Do I dare call you a ricer?
Listen kid, spark plug wires do not add power, period, they only affect high hp cars that are taking a hit due to stock flowing wires, not stock cars that don't need any extra boost. Now granted, they make the engine bay look better, but that's about it.
A cai will only get you around 2-3 rwhp on a 98, and exhaust around 5, still a far cry from the rwhp needed to beat any 94-02 camaro.

I don't know what your talking about. the wires are near 0 ohm resistance and I garente I gained power. the cai makes the engine run rich and wast gass you put on spark wires and not only can you and all your friend feel a diference but you gain 2 mpg.
As for the camaro issue, thats just a shaky issue only mustang "geeks" would agree with me on. the point is that People have driven both and some will say a camaro will beat a mustang and others will say a mustang will beat a camaro. I actualy beat a camaro so I think a mustang beats a camaro expecaly since they even have more power. Their extra weight makes up for the extra power leaving the race to the driver.

OK, I didn't want to do it, but here it goes: I owned a 1998 torch red Mustang V6, here is some stock info, my dyno along with a pic or two, and my mod list.
1994-1995 Ford Mustang V6 145 bhp 215 lb of tq 0-60 - 9.2s manual, 9.9s auto 1/4 mile - 16.2-16.5 manual, 16.8-17.1 auto
1996-1998 Ford Mustang V6 150 bhp 215 lb of tq all the same info
Now with that out the way my 1998 sixer had these mods when I ran her on the dyno (this is not my whole mod list as I added a few things after, but here's what it had): ebay CAI w/ K&N filter ASP 24% reduction underdrive pullies V6 O/R X pipe Magnaflow Catbacks 9mm red spark plug wires from stangwires Diablo custom tune (probably yielded the most power)

Now, before you say something bad about the dyno, or dyno opperator, here is my 5.0, same place, about a year later, same guys, I'd have to say, they're fairly accurate.

No, you didn't, maybe .3 rwhp at best.
No, a cai does not make an engine run rich, damn, learn a thing or two before you start talking about it. Only thing I partially agree with you on Yes, you're right, but that's comparing a 99-04 manual V6 Mustang against the same year Camaro, not a 94-98 V6.
