Default '05 C6 Corvette vs '02-'03 MACH 1

im posting this for my friend with the corvette. he wants to know who would win

he has a...2005 C6 Corvette with a tune and a 160stat

he is racing a 2002 or 2003 (he dont know mustangs to well) Mach 1 with a K&N air intake and a shorter shifter

besides the things listed both are stock so is this a driver race or does one car win out over the other?

The vette with 6-speed should run high 12s with a good driver and will have to make a mistake forthe kid in the Mach to beat him. Manual or auto, I give the C6 a pretty good advantage.

Vette for sure. But you never know, I raced a C5 Zo6 and the guy could only manage a 13.2[:@]Driver is one ofthe biggest parts of a race.

A C6, 6 speed should do better than a high 12 with a good driver...my lame ass could pull a high 12 in one.

I would say an M6 C6 should go high 12s with a driver that is breathing.
