If I can get my hands on a LA3, is it a direct swap becides the rewireing or do you have to modify the fuel rails so that the bigger injectors fit?

Thanks

You also need a large VAM to go with the LA and #35 injectors

Injectors will fit no problem. Look like old ones physically.

On the svo all you need is to repin 4 wires in your eec connector and the new injectors will fit right in to your stock fuel rail. and you do not need a new vam all svo's came with the large vam.  (sleeper[&:])

here is a step by step http://www.forced4.com/la3swap.html

Sorry, thought the 84-85's had small VAM to go with their #30 injectors[&:][&:]

about the same as the stock computer, I have seen people runs 20 psi no problem but i would suggest getting a f adjustabl fuel pressure regulator w/ gauge and either get i dynoed at a place with a wideband o2 setup or buy yourself a wideband o2 sensor ( innovative, aem, and autometer all have them)
