I know its early but it reminds me of Hyundai in the 80s; It took them 20 years to get where they are at and to be honest the stigma is still there. The cars are much better no doubt, but still I would buy a Toyota, or a Honda if I was to buy a car in that space.
Good luck to Steve and Billy, I love my Saleen.

I remember the first Hyundai cars. They were awful. If it takes Steve 20 years to get this to fly for the Chinese he won't be able to enjoy anything.
I wish Steve would get some good investors together and do something else performance minded. This is like Steve Jobs going from Apple to selling Donkey Kong games.
Steve can be the creative one and the others can balance the checkbook. Get us another racecar. It does not have to say Saleen on the windshield for me to buy it. It does need to be badass and have been designed visually by Phil Frank though.
It must be difficult to go from Saleen to vehicles with at top speed of 80 and a 0-60 measured in days not seconds. I guess the mortgage doesn't pay itself.
If you look at the dealer locator they are trying to recruite dealerships on-line...thats sad. Dealers will be selling these things out of a "van down by the river". I don't think this company is asgood a franchise investment as Honda was in the 70's.
Put these guys in the catagory of "DISPOSABLE VEHICLES" like Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki, and the late Sterling and Daewoo.

If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it.
ZXauto.comisa pretty sad website. It looks like they got ahold of some toyotas from the early 80's and reverse engineered them.
I predict they'll take the world by stormwhen they release the Paseo in 2060 and the Highlander in 2140. They're at least 200 years away from a Corolla.....
I hope Billy Tally is doing ok, though. He seemed like a nice guy.
Looks like their designers misunderstood the spirit of the project. Designers said...."they wanted atruck that would be the bomb!" Engineers heard....."design a truck that belongs in the Middle Eastcarrying a bomb!"
I can hear the adds now....."for the unsuspecting suicide bomber, choose ZX Admiral....after all, you only get one chance to be right!"
