work on getting your heads fist, w/out those running a performance cam won't do you that much good. or talk to lloydchristmas on this site. he seems to have the answers when it comes to NOS.      good luck!!!

Youre along way from needing a cam. The stock cam makes MAD power and changing it is a waste of time and money. especially without heads and an intake. Look into a holley or edelbrock performance package that includes heads intake and the right cam to go with your other parts.

i chose NOS b/c it was all i was able to afford being a full time college student and i had to do something to keep up w/ all my buddies that r running ls1's. i know i don't need a cam right now, but i want my car to hit a mean lick when it's idleing. i am planning on heads and intake in the future, so would getting a cam now hurt my performance?

Noslow50 - Im not here to get into a pissing match w/anyone but, do some research and you'll be surprised how much power can be made with the stock cam.
