new to 5.0 scene, help please

just bought a 5.0 mustang convertible, 95 model, wondering what cheap mods i can do and anything i can remove to lighten it up like the smog and p/s pump and theres some weird thing under the right front fender that says 25 lbs, i dont know what it is though.

this is a great article to read.  it has been posted on this forum countless times but never gets old.  i think i have read in 4 or 5 times.

lol, a weight maybe?? idk, but yeah, same thing you can do to any car applies. open up the intake and exhaust, couple hundred bucks, 20-30 horses i'd guess. plus people claim its better gas mileage . ummm, the carpet and stuff in the back isnt neccessary, and u can butcher the car anywa u want, many cars run w/o the air pumps etc.

you can always take out the back seat... You dont need no stinken back seat!! haha.... yank out the A/C. thats what you have windows for. Get some exhaust. Nothing sounds better than a mustang with exhaust. Grab the nearest Summit or Jegs mag and have at it.

Dont take out your AC or backseat for weight.  Not worth it.
