The seats fit fine with the stock seats in the back, but you will have a hard time getting an adult to slide in the back with those seats (even with the adjustable bracket, dont know if its possible at all without the bracket). You will save a ton of weight, but not as much if you keep the motors to adjust the seats, but still save weight.

We just designed and fabricated the Carbon Fiber rear seat delete, roll cage and harness are next. The seats are $3500 for the set (bracket to use adjustable motor set up is extra).

Also, you cannot order these as an option for your 08 extreme, however we can arrange to have them done to the car as soon as it is completed before delivery.

Hm. Wonder how comfy those non-adjustable seats would be for non-track use?

obviously they arent as comfortable as the stock Saleen seats, but once you get used to them they are pretty damn nice. They give a different feel, you definetly feel a lot more secure in the seats.

One thing I would definitely change is to put protective inserts in the shoulder harness holes. That way there is less wear and tear on the seat material. All major racing seat companies do this, its just a piece of hard plastic the goes around the rim of the hole. However, its a very minor issue and would only affect a small number of driving enthusiasts who would actually have functional shoulder harnesses.

When does Saleen plan on having the seats, roll cage, and harness ready? How much will the roll cage and harness be?
