Kind of looks like a BMW rip off. Oh well. I believe they lowered the power for this version as well. 362 horsepower, less than the 400 in the last GTO. Wouldn't be a bad vehicle if the price wasn't still $35,000+ and it didn't look like the G6, G5, Grand Am, Grand Prix, GTO....

+1, they should have came out with concept car i posted. It looks way better than what really came out.
GM better haul ass to catch up cuz the new Camaro is late! Dodge is f***ed cuz they let down the entire Charger fan base without a manual stock option.

From everything I have read the next GTO/Firebird (or whatever they decide to call it) will be out around 2010 and will basically be a rebadged Camaro.
god they seriously need to hire a better concept artist... If I want a saturn I will go to saturn... and the old goats were so bad ass too..whhat a bunch of nimrods
its really too bad that the new GTO/Firebird lines will be rebadged camaro's. Although i suppose the original's were close enough drivetrain wise... so long as they distinctly look like their retro ancestors i wont complain.
Whatever ends up being the GTO, it hopefully will be better then what they got now.
There was rumors at one point of pumping up the horsepower on the Pontiac Solstice and launching it as a Corvette StingRay . Not sure how much longer GM can go with badge engineering this way. They need to find the soul of their vehicles again, not just the badge....
Ford had best do something real smooth with the mustang cus that GTO and the Camaro coming soon are might just east the good ol' boy alive. id like to see something retro like what they did with the T-bird, mby lighten up the car and include and up-to-date IRS instead of a live axle, i know thier cheap and fun but yah gota get with the program. a mustang with IRS and a big ol' torque monster V8 would dominate SCCA events just like it did back in the day. That along with retro Iococca styling would make it sell like hot cakes(what ever those are).
