Hi, i just got my 08 gt in Vista Blue... i made up my mind that im gonna get white stripes..

i just dont know if i should go with vynal or paint...
id just want 2 stripes down the middle, just noral size i guess

ive heard that vinyls dont look as good and can fade.... (my friends blue stripes are fading) but i was wondering.. since myne are going to be white.. they wouldent fade right?

the reason im leaning towards vynil is because im only 17 and i dont feel like spending 2000+ dollars for stripes :(

any info would be great

then just  get vinyl. it wont look as good as niceley painted and cleared stripes but it will be fine. That would be 1500-2500 to do painted ones.
Just make sure they stripe thr front bumper or it will look really cheesy.

Hey bud. Just to let you know I am 17 also.
The stripes that came on my car were from ford-the exterior perfromance package.

I swear to you they look like paint, but are vynl.

Mine have no bumps, tears, or fading, and besides, with white, you couldn't tell  if it was fading or not.

I recommend vynl, because if you hate them, you can always take them off.

And, since mine go from 10 inches in the front to 12 inches wide in the rear, you can make your own.
Just buy a roll of vynl.

Cheers

If you do vinyl then get them from www.baltimorestreetmods.com  .  I did mine myself with a helper.  You need two people if you are going to do these yourself and you need to be maticulous with the cleaning of each panel before laying the stripes down.

Mine are antique white, which is basically an off white.  Even if white fades some you won't notice.  Yes my front bumper stripes are a little crooked.

Nothing, but you are driving an adult car.  It's not your fault, i blame your parents and that's who i'd sue when you lose control and hit me.  I would love to talk to some of ya'lls parents.

That my friend, is an opinion.

Let me put it this way,

would you rather have us belong to the mustang community or the honda DX community.

I think you should be able to pass a fifth grade spelling test before your parents let you buy a real car like a Mustang.

You spelled ridiculous wrong.  I'm not sure if that's a fifth grade level word though.

if the kid can afford the car why shouldnt he have it? because you had to wait till you were 30 to get one?
leave him alone, be happy he's on here with a mustang and not a civic claiming to kill stangs on the street.
