COPO is a Chevy that has an option that isnt really an option from the factory. Its specialy built so to speak. Special permission was needed to build it.

The ZL1 was a camaro with an aluminum 427 in it. The Vette Version was an Iron block Alloy head 427 called the L88. To say they were bad is an understatement. Stock they werent much faster than most BBC's but with just a few tweaks some headers and slicks they were flat out awesome.

Kinda the same for the BOSS429, just a little here and there and look out.

there the baddest engine chev made..made for all out racing ..rated at a laughable 435...dnyo'd with just a carb chage to some where in the n'hood for 550-575hp...there are only a few and they go for the other side of a 100k.

Don't forget about the 4th generation Camaro ZL-1.

That baby was pushing near 750rwhp for about 80 grand in 2000.

dan..no these were real cars you could buy at the dealership..and now go for over 100k now.. not a rich boy toy...back then you didn't have the be an exe. to get one..
even the 'stang are getting boring as you see a ton of the and most look the same... 10k more to look defferent is not my cup of tea. this is what happened to GM...they have the v-6 looking close to the v-8 car they know the v-6 is all bout the young person can afford. is 5-10k to get in a v-8 worth it NO! this is why to Jap car are coming in. I don't like it but that's life. What is saving the 'stang is the after market parts bin. just a few years ago the 'stang was headed out to pasture...but roush,shelby,saleen..have saved it for now.
