yea personally i think by the time its 2007 models, theres going to be a couple of things that happen. 2 are possible, the other is just a dream.

1.SVT is really over and thats it.
2.Shelby will only have this model for a few years to keep its collector value up and then go to SVT.
3. shebly and SVT will join forces......yea i know keep dreamin

Yeah I fear that too, that they will over price it and only make a few of them to try to create a collector car.

As to SVT being dead. Wrong. SVT IS alive and well. All SE cars will be made by SVT INCLUDING Shelby.

i think its still cheeper to buy a mach1 or gt and build it up...to buy anything with saleen or shelbys name on it your gonna pay to much for not enough..just my opinion... and as far as svt goes...i heard you need some kind of special raceing endorcment or some crap to even try to test drive a svt cobra...

from what i understand it is a svt shelby calabo so svt is still here just shelby probably had a lot of input

Well, you got some of the story right. No, Ford is not dumping SVT. Mr. Shelby and SVT are actually working togather on the new Mustang that goes on sale next year. No, not 550 horse power, but it will have over 450, which still makes it the most powerful mustang ever.

The information the dealerships are being given is that the price will "start" under $40,000.00 but will go well above that when fully equipped. Still a great price! www.media.ford.com
