i don't know exactly what the best would be, but i would say that some ngk v's would do just fine. also index them when you install them. it's free horse power

lloydchristmas -> spark plugs (2/17/2003 8:00:37 PM)

Auto lite Nothing but autolite!!!!!!

noslow50 -> spark plugs (2/17/2003 11:03:30 PM)

Nope... what spike said NGKS best around... don't buy into all those fake plugs.. u buy either factory orig. motor craft or NGK's.... nothing but...

spike306 -> spark plugs (2/18/2003 1:57:01 AM)

i looked into all the high dollar plugs and wires, and from what i have gathered, unless your running 5-800 hp, than your kinda wasting your money on those plugs. but at the same time i don't know what kinda plgs you would run w/NOS, so i can't fully argue w/it

lloydchristmas -> spark plugs (2/18/2003 7:42:42 AM)

My bad--- when I said autolite I really meant motorcraft. What the hell was I thinking???????

spike306 -> spark plugs (2/18/2003 8:31:16 PM)

Justang46L -> spark plugs (2/18/2003 8:48:55 PM)

yeah when i bought my car in had some special saleen plugs in it, and when they wore out, i put motorsport plugs in mine and i couldn't tell a dang blasted difference (and my 4.6 is naturally aspirated with no NOS or any of that other jazz)

lloydchristmas -> spark plugs (2/18/2003 9:42:38 PM)

Sometimes we type faster than we think.!!!!

spike306 -> spark plugs (2/18/2003 10:06:11 PM)

lol, my problem is that i think faster than i type, and sometimes forget what i was gonna write (hehe)

lloydchristmas -> spark plugs (2/19/2003 5:51:37 PM)

LOL Ive had good luck with accel plugs too.

95droptop -> spark plugs (2/21/2003 11:28:56 AM)

can you explain how to index the plugs when installing and how it adds horsepower

cougar -> spark plugs (2/21/2003 2:23:04 PM)

i use nothing but NGK V power plugs,in all my race cars with or without NOS,altho if i had to use another it would be eccel. thats just my opinoin anyway

itismejoshy -> spark plugs (2/24/2003 12:34:08 AM)

gtmustangmiguel -> spark plugs (5/3/2003 2:17:46 PM)

For anyone who knows about NGK spark plugs I have a question for you:

Which should i get for 02 GT mustang V8 2V:

1) Iridium or platinmun?

2) Regular class, Premium Class, or Super class

3) How many plugs do I need? 4 or 8?

Thanks...Any advice we'll help me....

stanglover -> spark plugs (5/3/2003 3:15:47 PM)

l dunno the exact answers for questions 1 and 2 but for number 3, l'm sure it's 8 (1 per cylinder).

95_GT_Stang -> spark plugs (5/11/2003 3:54:22 PM)

I'm using the Bosch Platinum 4's in my stang right now. From what i've heard, the irridium are supposed to last 100,000+ miles, vs. the platinums about 20K miles. For the price differince, I would say to go with the irridium. Just make sure not to gap either plug, as the tip will break off.

#3-Definetely 8 plugs if you have a V8

Black Knight -> spark plugs (5/19/2003 7:42:48 PM)

Hows it goin...i gotta 91' 5.0, and i have gotta say...ACCEL! ALL THE WAY!!!
