There are benefits to both....

BUT the vinyl stripes can always be removed or changed...... I tried three different schemes before I came up with one I really liked. That is actually how I got into selling the stripes as well as a plethora of other stuff for stangs.

I just ut a bunch of UPR billet aluminum interior stuff in my stang, and man, what a difference!!!! Worth every penny!!!!!

Not trying to bash....just trying to help

If you are trying to be professional and all with your site get rid of the sound effects...nothing makes a site more annoying/unprofessional than stupid sound effects when you open the page.

If it annoys me and I am on the web alot...imagine if someone is searching the millions of mustang sales sites and clicks that....hears the noise.....click BACK button right away.

trebor, I am going to PM you with something instead of putting it out here for all to see. I feel the same way about your site as miliock. Just some constructive suggestions, cause your products are killer!

While we're on the subject, are there optimal temperatures and/or atmospheric conditions to put on stripes? It's pretty cold around here and I just recently bought some stripes for my 2000. Not to hijack, so feel free to PM me if you would feel like a hijacker. Or put it here for all to see. Maybe others need help, too.

i agree with the argument that vinyl can come off, but paint just looks so much better. if you have the money and know you want it, get em painted. ive waxed cars with vinyl stripes and for the most part the vinyl stays kinda dull. paint just looks so much better all around, but it is permanent.

So what's the deal with those FatF decals on your site. Are there any other companies that make chromed up multicolor vinyl decals that are more complex than a checkered flag or a really simple design?

If you're 100% sure you'll always want those stripes, then paint them. however, if you ever sell the car, some people might not like that look and would be more likely to buy knowing they could take the vinyl stripes off.

I bought silver 9" racing stripes from trebor and I'm going to put them on when a nice day rolls around. I can't wait til spring comes to put those on my black stang, and get the old stock ones off. And of course, if I don't like them, I can always take them off and go plain.

That's just me though.

Vinyl for stripes. Paint for graphics or flames.

I debated on red on black too. Great colors together. Makes a mean looking combo too.

I'll definitely be on the lookout for those. I am SUCH a perfectionist when it comes to my car, so I'll be sure to catch it. Also, my stripes came with a squeegee to go over them so I don't get them underneath there.

*crosses fingers*

Just so everyone knows, I have listened, and the music is now gone from the site. I am beginning to have too much data anyway with all the items I have added to the site.

xRocktheponyx, Thank you for your purchase!!! I would love to see it when you are done!!!! If it is possible, can you take pics of your application as you go? I want to set up a page within my site showing step by step for all our stang guys. If you, or anyone on this site purchases stripes and runs into any issues, get ahold of me, i WILL make sure my stang peeps get taken special care of.

As to temp, you will have much better luck if either it is warm out, or if you have a heated garage. As I learned first hand this fall, they are a pain in the a** to apply if it is cold (not to mention cold hands from being wet with solution lol)

If anyone stripes an 05 stang, and runs into issues striping the hood or trunk, get ahold of me, we have learned a couple tricks with these particular applications. We are working on a custom cut set, and should have them worked out in a few weeks. They will likely run somewhere in the $99 range, and will go bumper to bumper.

I am hearing that new england dragway and cecil CO dragway here in MD are now open..... time for us to start hitting the 1/4mi runs, hope to see some of you there
