Ya so I know I like both for their unique styling, unique approaches to power trains, and the way they are marketed. God save me if I get a million bucks!
I like Roush's attention to oldschool with the style and Roots Blower.
I like Saleen's attention to the sleek with that Twin Screw blower.
Both have awesome Aero Bodies, and both would have my checkbook if it could hold it.
What do you guys\gals think, I'm sure this topic comes up alot.
This is a touchy subject here. The roush guys will tell you rousch is the better choice while the Saleen guys will tell you that the Saleen is the better choice. I say test drive them both and see which one YOU like better. You have to pay for it, you have to drive it, you have to like it. I did and I picked the Saleen because it fit me. Plus around here there are a lot of rousch vehicles. Maybe in your area this might be different.
To be honest I'ma wait til my Lietenate paychecks roll in when I graduate, and I'll pick up both, 427R Trak, and Saleen Supercharged. Both coupes of course, I love stangs, I'ma face hell though when the Navy has to move em... I'ma have to have my girl drive one while I drive another, cuz I already have a 04 Cobra stored in florida, and two 89 GT's here... IE base housing for the win!
psst im a mustang guy, i have a roush, i am currently looking at a saleen, i want both...they are sexy cars, we are on the same team right , the team that stands against the camaros and chargers etc... ps i had a nisson pick up attempt to race me tonight? he was suprisingly fast as hell..i of coarse killed him but wow he must of had something under his belt to even attempt that right?
I picked up a Skyline back in my 17's LOL (two years seems like forever) and it was fast, but my first 89 GT 1k horse sounds weak, with a Stang 3k sounds more like the border! LOL And hell ya Roush, Saleen, Steeda, Griggs, I'm like "GANNA HAVE EM ALL" but I'ma have to negotiate which of us (me or my girl) will own the Saleen or the Roush, I want the Muscle look of the Roush, but being beat by my girl has me wondering if I should give her the higher horse Saleen and risk losing or not! But ya Nissans are respectable, but I bleed blue and white ovals, they just reflect red cuz I'm so hot from the Adrenaline rush I just got with the stang! LOL
I'ma have to message the forum, cuz Griggs and Steeda don't have their own section... I think that drives away some of those guys, and they have some the sickest stangs out there! LOL

where you stationed at. Im in the Navy as well. I bought a saleen because ive always loved the styling. Although I alsmost bought a red 427R this summer at a car show. The only thing I dont like about the roush is that they dont use a twin screw supercharger. I cant figure this out because ford sell the ford racing whipples.
I obviously prefer what I have. I like having the winningest team in automotive racing history plasted on my car. The looks win for me, too. Other than that, I like the way Roush's SC is set up more than Saleens. (Not that I have a Rosuh SC on my car.) The Roush SC kit makes more power at less boost, has a more complete set up and nets you better fuel economy.
But I won't talk too much about things I don't have. I like having a V6 Roush. It allowed me to make my own car with their platform to start from. Start with a Roush serial number, wheels, body kit, exhaust and suspension - then upgrade to my own needs.

My first choice is ROUSH, but if i ever had the chance to get my hands on a saleen, i would definately want both. they are both such amazing companies that provide all of us mustang enthusiats with so many great looking rides.
I have owned Saleens since 1991 when I bought my 89#709. At the time there was really no other car/ manufacturer like it out there. Now there a plenty of choices and I still love the Saleen so when I sold my 89 last year I went with an 04 SC Vert and I love the car. Styling, looks, Handling, power (for the most part) Exclusivity here in New Hampshire. But I will say the new Black Jack Roush as well as the 427 R cars are absolute beasts and the Body Coddington 04 Roush I saw at a car show 3 years ago was a beautiful car as well. So it comes down to what your preference is. My buddy is looking to get into having a collector car in the next year or so and he is a big Roush fan and that is cool as well. You can't go wrong either way. It always comes down to YOUR Personal choice. MY dream Garage could have a Black Jack or a 427 R in it, after of course my SA10 and my 07 Exterme Saleen, and my 04 Cobra Saleen Vert. Oh and my Saleen Pickup .

I'm sorry but what the heck are you saying here? The grammar runs a little bit together and so I had a hard time understanding what you were talking about here. You have an 04 Cobra, and 2 89 GT's and once you become a Lieutenant (sp) you will then be able to buy both a Roush 427R Trak and a Saleen ? So about 80-100K in cars. Your 19 now? hmm I guess the Navy is paying pretty well even if base housing is covered.
