I am in the middle of my HO whipple install and I've decided to replace the Whipple IC reservoir with the Kenne Bell IC reservoir.  I've received the reservoir from Kenne Bell but my requests for mounting instructions have gone unanswered.  To those with the Kenne Bell supercharger: where do the 2 holes under the tank and the bracket arm mount?  And how are supply and return hoses routed?  Any pics of your reservoirs or images of the pertinent parts of the Kenne Bell install manual that would help me get this frankencharger plumbed would be greatly appreciated.

congrats ytix on the ongoing install....i'll try
to find ya some pics.....

are you going to mount it like shown in
this pic?

if so, the drivers side whipple I.C. core output
would whip all around to the reservoir and the
output of the reservoir would route down to
the water pump (frame rail, drivers side)...

Thanks hammer!  Yeah, I'm kinda bummed that this install is taking so long...I mean moosestang is right it's not rocket science, but its taking along time for me to complete.  I've been taking some pics along the way and I'll be posting them with the results of the install when it's all done.  Little detours along the way like removing and powder coating valve covers, this Kenne Bell reservoir mod, hardware store runs for missing/incorrect supercharger kit bolts, etc keep pushing back the date of my completion.  Anyway waiting till middle of next week for valve covers to be complete and then I can drop the intake and supercharger in the valley.  I did the fuel pump install first so that's already finished.

very nice. i thought about doing the valve covers
too, while i had everything apart.....i decided against
it only because i didn't want to add any additional
unknown's, to the equation.

i sometimes wish i had done them, looking back.....

i know there's alot of crap to do, but hang in there

It's all down hill from there!  I wasn't missing anything except a pinch clamp for the intercooler reservoir.  Of course i had to get new screws for the MAF, but I knew that going in.

That's why I decided against relocating the IAT to the intake manifold.  If I really want to latter I'll just get the plastic one and rethread it for the 1/8 inch port on the manifold.

My engine compartment gets to dirty for pretty valve covers or cam covers, whatever.

Everything is complete on my end too. I was curious as to why you went with the KB as opposed to the Whipple resevoir? Hammeron- I went with the FRPP chrome valve covers with the install of the Whipple as I did not want to do it after. Good luck and hang in there - there is an end in sight.

Yeah, this may sound a little oxymoronic but I like the almost-stock look of the black KB reservoir: it looks like a cheap standard-issue engine bay element and that is strangely attractive to me.  I also like the extra space near the CAI housing to place a oil separator.  I hope the wrinkled black valve covers are worth the extra down time.

So how did the install go?  There's lots of room for a catch can on the back of the air filter bracket.
