The front and rear bumpers are different as well as the decklid spoiler.  Other than what was stated above nothing else is different...

The whole car is different from the 99 to 02!  They are built better and will go a whole lot faster for less money!

Terminator simply refers to 2003 and 2004 Cobras, everything special about them everyone has covered above.  It's very similar to why people call 79-93 mustangs "fox body" mustangs.

Oh and if your a girl then..........................................................

03-04 Cobras are referred to as the "Terminator". 99-01 Cobras are referred to as "New Edge" Cobras. The differences have been pretty much covered.

Cast Iron engine Block on the Terminator vs Aluminum for the 99-01.

Forced the need for stiffer sway bars and springs to make up for the increased weight.

The shift light is on the bottom of the gauge cluster. It's near the theft light?? Been a while since I've seen mine.

Most people turn it off, because it's really annoying. It's just a little yellow arrow that points up. Didn't know I had one until I got a new computer.

Correcto... its annoying as ****  I turned mine off with my predator, if you followed where it told you to shift, you would be shifting somewhere around 3k rpms.  It was installed to let you know where to shift for the best fuel economy.... like soo many cobra owners buy this car for that reason alone

Anyways, the new edge cobra's are the 99 and 01's.  No "American" cobra were made in 02.  The terminators where the 03 and 04 cobra.  They are the only ones to come from the factory supercharged.

There are other differences as well... the exterior is tweaked from its older brothers as it has forged internals, T-56 transmission, and so on and so on.  You should search for "CobraBob" and his FAQ page as it has many great topics on the terminators for you to read.

Is it sad that I actually shift mine so that the shift light never comes on?? I drive my car like a granny most of the time. It's a little more pathetic when you find out that I'm 19 and drive it responsibly. Can't afford the tickets, and I love the car too much to lose it.
