Hello, all...(relatively) brand new GT500 owner here!

Got my first 'Stang, 2006 Torch Red Premium GT Vert, last October from my old boss, who sold it after owning it 3 weeks because he ordered a GT500.  I was loving my 'Stang (going from a 120-hp Corolla to a 300-hp 'Stang made driving a LOT more fun!), but then my old boss made the mistake of letting me drive his Shelby.  OOPS!  [:D]

I found a deal I couldn't resist on a rare color "used" 2007 Shelby (18 miles on it!), and after a week of begging and pleading with the wife, she graciously allowed me to get it.

Here she is, in her Alloy Clearcoat Metallic/Tungsten Grey stripe glory!

That's one beautiful looking 500hp beast you have. From 120hp, to 300hp, to 500hp. At this rate, you'll be driving a 750hp vehicle (S7?) in 3 months [:)]

Actually, I've found that if I drive like a normal human being (with only the occasional WOT out of a light, of course!), I can get 18mpg in a week of my daily stop-and-go commute.  On the highway, I can get 22mpg pretty easily.  Of course, when I take friends out for a joyride, it drops to 10mpg or less pretty quickly!  [:D]

Premium gas in my area runs around $2.80/gallon, which isn't that bad.  My gas budget's only gone up $50 a month.  I can live with that.  Now the car payment increase, on the other hand...  [:(] [:D]

you know to follow your 120HP, 300HP, 500Hp trend... get it Super Snake'd and you'll have the 700 + HP to fit, haha
