Default 00 GT loses to WRX

This dude in a WRX (year??) flew by me so I caught up to him. We approahed a stale red light at about 30 MPH. The light wentgreen about 150 ft. before the intersection with him about a half-car ahead of me. We both gunned it and he jumped a car ahead and stayed there to about 100 MPH. This was in a 45 MPH zone and very dangerous. Moreover, he put on his blinker and tried to change lanes at 90 MPH with me right behind him in the next lane. Could have been bad. I think I'm done with street racing, due to my last couple of losses and potential consequences. I think I'll go to a strip and get my ass kicked there or maybe evenlearn how to drive.

Anyone know of a good strip in Southern California?

Where in SoCal? I keep hearing about one in Palmdale, but I haven't been there, and my friend told me there was one near San Diego too. I just moved out here last year so I can't be really specific, but I can ask them exactly where next time I see them.

depends where in so cal. there is a nice 1/8 in irwindale, and the closest 1/4 to it is fontana, its called california speedway. the fontana track used to suck, i didnt like it, but ive heard they completely redid it, duno though, havnt been there for a few years.

I have been to just about all the tracks down here in SoCal. I go with my cousin when he runs his Dakota R/T. Irwindale and Fontana are pretty nice. Irwindale gets pretty packed though on their Thurs/Fri. night events. We would wait just about an hour between each pass. Tons of stangs! And of course tons of rice. But the track was great for an 1/8 mile. The best one in SoCal I think is Fontana though for sure. But I wouldn't suggest Palmdale, The track was horrible. The track-prep guys had no clue what they were doing. They would direct people 3-4 ft. in front of the water box just about everytime! It was a waste of a trip.
