Can you put a 235/40 - 18 inch tire on a 18 x 9 rim? They are on 8.5 inch rims now, and I was just wondering.

Yeah, I thought it wouldnt work, but on 1010tires it says you can definitely do it. It says it iwll fit anything up to a 9.5 inch.

It's probably possible, but will be a real pain in the ass to catch the bead for whoever is mounting them. Not to mention, they would look ****in' stupid. Why put such a skinny tire on?

Sell the old rims and tires to fund some new ones.
