I'll be the first to admit that about 4 years ago I used to street race whenever I could. I'll admit that it was dumb, stupid and very immature and could have been deadly on more than one occasion. But now that I havent street raced in over 2 years and that I actually went to the strip, I think its the dumbest thing in the world. Especially after seeing what can happen during a street race. I love the track, the environment and most of all the racing and cars. On my way to work two nights ago I had a black SRT-4 try and race me from a 45mph roll and he kept toying with me, so I downshifted and just let it rev up and he took off thinking I was racing when I never went past 50mph. This sh*t was funny as hell to me. Then tonight on my way to work an F-250 Super Duty was trying to race. We got stopped at like 4 redlights together in the front, and everytime he would spin the tires and take off. I'll admit one time I did rev up alittle and launch, but shifted early and then cruised on down the road. It was even funnier because the passenger was all looking and laughing. I really dont see too many people racing like I used too, but I for one never do anymore. I have the thoughts going through my mind sometimes, but I never do anymore. Thats it, thats all I wanted to say was "thank God for race tracks".
