I own a 2000 Saleen s281sc with the 13" Saleen brake kit. Well its time to replace the pads but I dont know what Im looking for. I may be wrong, but I believe the calipers are Brembo's. What pads do I need to buy? Thanks.

He will probably need to know whether there is an Alcon or Brembo set-up for his front brakes.

man i just went through hell trying to find out brake pads for my saleen... I have 2000 as well and mine weren't either Alcon nor brembo... they were AP racing.... I suggest you look on the back of your calipers and if you have AP racing then you can find hawk pads... I got a set from Stillen.com for 120 shipped.

Use Hawk pads for replacement for the Brembos.

Use Porterfeild replacement pads for the Alcons.

Both throw very little dust compared to the stock pads.

Once you figure out what brakes you have, another source for many of the parts is Streetwise -- streetwiseparts.com. They have much more than what's listed on their website.
