Default 03 Cobra

I have a 03 Cobra and I changed the plugs and in cylinder number 3 and 4 There is what looks like rust on the spark plugs I was wondering what was causing this to happen someone told me that it might be because of me washing my motor but I dont if yall could he;p me out It would be nice!

more then likely it is from water getting down there, the coil pack covers dont seal perfectly all the time

probably water. make sure u use anit seize when u put ur new ones in.

Was the rust on the top side or the bottom (the part in the combustion chamber)?

It was on the top where the coil pack goes on the spark plug.

If water was able to get up into the thread from the inside of the head, you would have known because that spark plug would have been laying on the road somewhere...

If the electrode is rust free, I would just take it easy on washing the motor and make sure you use a liberal amount of anti-seize.
