hey im new to the forums, i have a 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 v8 completely stock, a sentra wants to race for $$$... i dont know the capabilitys of a SE-R Spec V.... i hear that they are a family cary but isnt Spec-V some sort of racing thing like GT is?? just wondering if you think id win. thanks!

If the sentra is stock and you are a decent driver then yes you will win.

i forgot to mention his is standard and mine is auto.... im guessing that makes a HUGE difference.

Yah it does, race him from a stop and brake torque and you should come out fine since u got the torque.

should i drop into first and shift up..? and how do i brake torque? i assume i hold the break and get my rpms higher to boost right?

i wouldnt shift, let the computer worry about it.  brakestand/torque whatever is just holding the brake while revving to keep you from moving, so basically yes.

That sentra lists a 15.6 1/4 mile time, you should be low 15's, take his $$$

when breakstanding.. what rpms should i get the car to?? ughhh fractions of a second scare me lol.
