What does everyone think of this type of exhaust combo?

*Borla chrome full length headers

*Borla cut-out(Allows you to run straight headers whenever you like; Just remove three little butterflies from the pipe to remove a lid).

*No cats

*3.5 inch offroad X-pipes

*Borla RACING mufflers

*4 inch borla tips

NOW, the cost for all this including installation is $1400 and every single connection is welded to ensure that there is no air-leaks.

Sounds good or what?

you're exhaust is too big. unless you're running something under there that would actually need that (supercharged and like 1000 hp) there's no way u need pipes that big. especially 4" tips. but really it's your car, and in the end what you want to do, you're going to do.

Big exhaust = lost power

You're going to lose way too much velocity at lower RPMs with that exhaust. Lost velocity means piss poor scavenging, which in turn means less mixture being allowed into the cylinder, which is why you end up with less power.
Unless of course you're running massive boost or insane displacement.

Sounds way too f**king expensive.

You don't need to look at the size of the piping so much as how fast the exhaust goes through it.
