I knew it was coming! lol
And I think 2v's sound better. It's not the reason I got one, but they do sound better. The 4 cams in a Cobra overlap too much to produce that lopey idle. But other than that Cobra's are better in every way, just like a GT is better than a V6.
I got a 2v cause I'm happy with 5-600rwhp. That's totally attainable with a 2v. Higher than that is a bit tough and you lose it's comfort and driveability. I think getting a GT or Cobra should depend on your goals. If you max is 600 that you want to go, GT all the way. Anything over just get a Cobra.

I have never heard of a non-brand name car....would that be like a Fred's Fun Wagon?
I mean look at flash's sig...tell me which looks better?
the mustang looks good in my rear view and i love the way my maro looks and performs. but i still have my stang and my ls1 but id rather drive my stockish ls1 maro
i actually washed both cars 2day and im proably gonna remove the venom kit from my 6er and install on my maro after a few more bolt on

you can easily get more than 600RWHP. if/when i put the T trim on the car, i should easily be over 600RWHP.
i agree that the 2v sounds better. it's more of a deep, throaty sound than the 4v. i guess that's one advantage of heads that don't flow for crap. mine has a nasty lope to it with the stage 3 heads and cams though. i really should make some sort of vid.
Dude, make them give you the $1,500 extra for the blue book on the vehicle, especially if you have stuff done to the v6. They will pay it! If they say that they cant, tell them to drop the price of the car by $1k.....the ranger i had was at 145,000 miles - straight to auction vehicle - kbb was only $2300 but i haggled them into giving me $4000.

mods don't give your car value, unless it's something big like a built motor and a nice supercharger setup. basic boltons, you're not going to get anything back, you may even lose some value.

+1, bolt on mods will not raise the value, it can actuall reduce the value for some dealerships as they can't gurantee those moded parts. S/Cs can raise the value "a little" but that's for private sale only, dealers will not give you too much for it.
Great looking GT.... I went from a 6 to a GT as well,,, My 2001 Mineralgray was totalled out on 8-3-07..... Got a good deal from the insurance company so had the money to get me back into a GT.. I had previously owend 3 GT's but got out of stangs for a while then back into them with the 6cly...... Loved the car, but couldn't find another mineral gray so I went with a GT 35th anniversary... Still in the middle of doing mods to it...... Enjoy your new GT............

Trust me they got the 1700 difference from somewhere else...either they raised the intrest rate or the price of the car.
