You couldn't drive because you're only 17? What kind of crappy track is that? How do the jr dragsters run?

That's retarded.

how far above sea level was the track?  you know that has a lot to do with times.

blaine - 60' = 2.6 (there was a roush stage 2 right next to my car on the drag strip and we were almost neck and neck til after the 60.. he got a 2.3)

Yeah, that's a problem. With a 2.3 60' even, you'd see a huge improvement in ET.

Do you have anything done to it (performance)? Is it a Auto?
How was the driver? Launch?
High elevation, hot temps, poor tractions, so-so driver, restricted fuel filter, low tire pressure can all hinder your performance.

U guys live in Jersey?  What town do you live in thats only 20 minutes away? cuz I'm about that far away myself...

and edit, if its the raceway the elevation is real low, not to much above sea level

i had the sub and the spare out with a 230lb? driver..its an auto with an x pipe/mac catback exhaust and cai with bullit wheels..

i guess my car is just slow...it only spun for a split second but idk if traction was off or OD on or what...

and deadbolt, i live in morris county..its like 45 min north of the parkway

yeah i live in monmouth county.  But are you an auto or manual?  what are you launching at? and +1 on the traction control off.  And its been pretty warm lately, so that doesnt help at all either

Before you go next time make sure your oil is clean as is the tranny fliud and gear oil.
Use a K&N filter recharger cleaner and oil on you air filter, clean out the thottle body, change the fuel filter, run some injector cleaner, and checkthe tire prressure: run 38-40psi front and 35-38 rear. Thats the basic stuff I can think of right now.

Turn TC off, and OD does not matter. Also the driver: launch? experience with car? He he just flooring it, and hoping for the best? Also let the car cool down before you run. I bet if you were drivng, you would be able to knock off a few tenth because you have had the most seat time in it.
