I was wrong, check out superchargersonline.com for great cheap vortech's, Chrisc told me about em and there really cheap. $2.6k for a vortech non-intercooled tuner kit and $4.2k for an intercooled non-tuner kit and $3.3k for the non-tuner non-intercooled kit. That's dirt cheap for chargers and vortech is a good brand name. On here Chrisc, got the $3.3k kit and bought an 8.6psi pulley for $70. Then he got it dyno tuned and got 270rwhp on his auto w/only a muffler extra. That's 320hp-330hp for only the charger, aftermarket pulley, muffler and dyno tune. So for about $4.3k-$4.5k counting all that installed he got 330hp easy. And went he went duals, he gained another 20hp about. That's damn good for the price. And if ur handy, knock off $700-$1k off that price if u could install a charger. Good luck.

First off, nobody talks about crank hp except for dealers.  Keep the #'s to real world rwhp.
Second, there is no way I would buy a non-intercooled kit unless I knew within the year or so that I would be adding the intercooler.  I realize that money restraints come into play, but you are really limiting yourself without it.  Gotta pay to play is the common tag line, and it holds true.
There were some good suggestions such as used GT or 4.0 and modify that.
Yes you can jump right into a SC or turbo but really there are some supporting mods you should do first to prepare for it.  If 4.0 I would prepare by going with aftermarket muffler (doesn't neccesarily have to be duals), Tlok/gears (or even 8.8/gears), and lca's, then I would purchase my power adder of choice after I did my homework.

too scared to be here.....

let me rephrase my dis. Big body+ small wheels= unbalanced. Big body+ big wheels=Hella nice.

like dat dude said, get a Saleen Body kit. that's what I am talking about.

I like this car,it feels safe. Plus, if I can add a Saleen kit to it, it's gonna be perfect for me.
I am not saying I don't like it. I mean I want to change the way I want it.

I am here just for some suggestions about the Car. no suggestions towards me, plz.

hey man i got ur escalade on 26's parked outside ur house! if u think the mustang is so ugly, why are u considering one. And imo the mustangs wheels are sized just fine for the car. like many people said i think u want a ricer more then a MUSCLE car. you know a MUSCLE CAR, the ones with big chunky bodies, small tires and big engines? oh yeah and the ones that dont make that little bumble bee sound when they drive by?

on a serious note, if u want an import for under 25k, why dont u get a subaru WRX? they are AWD and they come with 227 crank HP. the little suckers are quick, especially off the line but you lose alot more top end with awd.

Like I and buckman stated you need other parts, along with the S/C and the previosly posted parts, you should also upgrade youre brakes, and suspension. The more power, the faster you need to stop.

After reading everything, I think he is wanting a decent performance car, but a fast car look. I don't think he wants to invest cash into engine mods.

He would probably be happy with a V6 stang, with the 3dcarbon Boy Racer body kit.

    LMAO, 10 speed bicycle!
All that's necessary with a turbo are good tires, rear lower control arms, t-lok, and high flow muffler. With that u'll hook fine unless u launch higher than 2k rpm and ur exhaust won't be too restrictive. Heavy duty brake's aren't necessary b/c the car's pretty much the same weight. Intercooler would be nice, but everywhere I read says there only necessary for turbo's with 11psi or more. Appearance is up to u but I think a nice exhaust and tints is all anyone needs in that department unless u have OCD. Good luck, but if u want to keep the bike I suggest making it a 21 or 28 speed, getting smaller and lighter wheels for racing, new paint job, carbon fiber seat cushion, and a lightweight handlebar. Now that's a sweet ride!

ROFL that's so true haha!!  I hate cars that sound like that.  You can get a car that's as fast as you want but if it doesn't sound mean then it isn't gonna impress anyone.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!...

personally... idk if i like the idea of some dude, who doesnt appreciate american cars from the beginning looking at one of (if not, THE) most iconic american car ever built... ive loved mustangs since i was like 5 and knew i wanted one ever since, and i just got lucky enough to get (IMO) the best looking model since the 1964.5-69....  it just blows my mind when someone doesnt even know if they'd want one but theyre looking at it anyways... it just seems  like "WTFH?!?!?!" to me...

I think I may have found a car that fits your description.  Although, the wing may be a little small.

My bike is 18 speed manual!!!!!!!!!!!

    hehe.

The reason why I ask if Mustang is strong enough, cuz my mum was driving into a toyota camery with a Chrysler Van. and our Van has minor damage. but Dat camery 's truck got smashed in! and it spins about 25 degree, hit a lexus SUV. and the lexus's door got a big dent! So my point is, in case of accident. can mustang kick other japanese cars' azz with minor damage on its own body? what about euro cars? Ex: audi A4, Benz C class?

Mustang got 5 star crash test rating on frontal impact and 4 star on side impact.  Which means they are very safe.

I love this kids ?'s, there so damn funny. Let me get this right. U want a car that can kick japanese cars ass in a crash w/minor damage to ur car. WTF! LMAO. What r u thinking of doing? Do u not like some people with ricer cars that live near u? This seems like if u get a mustang, ur gonna get some damage on it. My suggestion with this new want, is get a used Ford Explorer with a V8. Get a grill guard and then u can test out how japanese cars do in crash tests/accidents. And this way, no damage to ur car. It won't be sports car fast, but with the right exhaust mods, it will sound mean as hell and be really safe. It's a very strong car. Not sure how strong euro car frames are, but I no asian cars r frowned upon for their lightweight metal POS frames. American frames r built pretty strong, except for the Carbon fiber corvette. Good luck on ur safe, damage friendly safe car!
