let me rephrase my dis. Big body+ small wheels= unbalanced. Big body+ big wheels=Hella nice.
like dat dude said, get a Saleen Body kit. that's what I am talking about.
I like this car,it feels safe. Plus, if I can add a Saleen kit to it, it's gonna be perfect for me. I am not saying I don't like it. I mean I want to change the way I want it.
I am here just for some suggestions about the Car. no suggestions towards me, plz.

First, welcome to MustangForums. Don't get frustrated if the responses have been less than courteous. Occasionally we get new members who are only here to troll up trouble. I think some folks thought that was your intention.
Most of us here enjoy modifying our S197 Stangs - for increased performance, improved looks, better aesthetics/function, etc. We all have our own reasons for doing it. As long as you are happy, that's all that truly matters. Just remember that some changes are not as well received as others (like rebadging a V6 as a GT), so don't be surprise to see some people get flamed for doing something considered "outlandish".
Not sure if you've gotten your Stang yet or not, but post some pics when you do.
well, I am not looking for troubles. neither want to enrage anyone.
I haven't gotten a mustang yet. I am deciding if I should.
i am thinking of getting a very basic one, and try to buy a set of Saleen 20x8.5 wheels, and foggy lights, bumpers etc. But it seems when everything adds up, it's not too affordable for me. But there's not any good car for a low price. I am so controdictory about deciding.
can any1 tell me, is stang stronger than Japanese cars? how likely will stang bust the japanese cars?

You wouldn't necessarily have to buy everything at once. Buy the car, save up for wheels then enjoy the wheels while you save up for a Saleen body kit or whatever else you like. The anticipation is murder but enjoyable What do you mean by "stronger" than Japanese cars? You mean as in reliability? Sure all cars are different and certain components are built differently or better, but a basic rule of thumb is that one car is basically just as reliable as the next AS LONG AS YOU TAKE CARE OF IT If you beat the hell out of any car, a Honda, Ford, Mercedes, then it will not last long and you will have problems. Take care of your car and it will take care of you.

like what 90lxstang said: take care of it, and it will take care of you. i also got a '98 ford ranger with 80k on it that has given me no problems yet. It still runs like a champ, thanks to some minor perf. mods. On the other hand, I have a friend who has a 2002 honda accord that grinds when shifting into second. also has a worn out clutch and power windows that work like crap. its mostly user error which further makes the case of taking care of your ride and it will take care of you. no one seems to make a deal on his accord's problems but if it had been an american car, it would be endless bashing on the quality of american automobiles.
I agree, if I had an infinite amount of money, the FIRST car I would buy would be a Mustang. There is soooo much more potential in a Mustang than any other car.
Tell us what type of car u actually want and ur budget. Then we can help. I think u want a fast car and have $25k so buy the 4.0(V6) mustang for $18k right off lease. Now u have $7k for mods. Buy a intercooled turbocharger for $4.5k and have it installed for $600-$1k and have it set at 11psi boost. Now, with the money u have left over, buy a performance dual exhaust with an h-pipe. U will now have a car with about 400hp+ and can take a lot of the cars that are on the street in races. U will have tons of fun with this car. Now the only ? left is, Can u handle the power?

I may get flamed for saying this, but if you want blazing accelleration, why not consider a buying a pre-owned 2005/2006 GT Mustang? You'll already be ahead of the V6 in terms of performance (which will save you money), you won't be hit with huge depreciation, and you will still own a Mustang!

or he could get more power going 4.0 off lease and turbo. Good idea on the GT though, but I would much rather listen to the sound of a turbo over a gt exhaust any day.
why not buy an 05' or 06' mustang 4.0 for what? 12k, 13k? and then you'd have about 10grand for mods. Buy a supercharger (paxton, or vortech both are good) for about 5 grand, and then another $600-$1,000 for the install, you'd also need dual exhaust for about $500 (get a nice powerful setup) then 3.73 gears, and t-lok (if your going S/C you will need them). you will still have money left over for the saleen wheels, and some other body mods......I think.
I was wrong, check out superchargersonline.com for great cheap vortech's, Chrisc told me about em and there really cheap. $2.6k for a vortech non-intercooled tuner kit and $4.2k for an intercooled non-tuner kit and $3.3k for the non-tuner non-intercooled kit. That's dirt cheap for chargers and vortech is a good brand name. On here Chrisc, got the $3.3k kit and bought an 8.6psi pulley for $70. Then he got it dyno tuned and got 270rwhp on his auto w/only a muffler extra. That's 320hp-330hp for only the charger, aftermarket pulley, muffler and dyno tune. So for about $4.3k-$4.5k counting all that installed he got 330hp easy. And went he went duals, he gained another 20hp about. That's damn good for the price. And if ur handy, knock off $700-$1k off that price if u could install a charger. Good luck.
