Afternoon

I have recently recieved a CEL, that says I am running rich. How could this be possible? I no longer have the LT headers or the O/R x pipe. I have switched from the 93 tune to the 87 tune still using the JLT 2 CAI. I have cleared the code once and now it's back on. How is this possible? and is this dangerous? Thanks

If those 2 tunes are designed for the LT's and X-pipe, then that may cause a rich CEL when those components are uninstalled. Check with Brenspeed to see if you need a different tune.

it must be something with the tune or the O2 sensors, at any rate rich condition is not dangerous, maybe expensive because you are burning more gas than needed and probably loosing some power too, lean condition on the other hand can be dangerous.
