i got smoked. it was a 200 ft race. Got me by a car. hahaha. after that he hit the brakes as soon as i started getting a lil traction

After being down only 1 car after only 200 ft, I wouldn't call that being smoked. By the way your post sounds, it seemed as though you probably would have started to catch him. In your opinion, why do you think he let off so quick?

i dont follow...you raced a 12 second evo from a dig. so assuming that it ran 12.000...your mod list mentions a 5.1L stroker motor and its supercharged...and you cant outrun a 12 second car?

he's saying the evo guy got in his lead with the launch, but then immediately shut down with his "victor" after only 200 feet of racing. right when he was going to blow by him. i've raced an evo where the kids yelled "SEE-YA!" when they botled on the launch, then were in shock and awe when i blew by them after i got traction and blew by like they were sitting still.

im just surprised that a car with that amount of work done to it, running DRs, couldnt put up a better fight against a car that was only in the 12s...his car should easily be in the 11s, if not better...that would be like me running against a car in the 13s, and even if i blow the launch, it wont take long for me to pass a car a second slower than me...

i'm not sure why he started out by saying he got smoked... if he only lost by a car and was gaining. i woulda said some idiot in an evo let off before i was able to hand him his ass

Agreed - he should have caught him within 100 feet.
