Why do the ricers in their Civics w/just rims and a muffler think they can run a Mustang?  Last night myself, my friend, and my bro roll up in the parking lot where the ricers hang out at to show them what a real car looks like.  We all followed each other into the lot.  Then this ricer with a 4 door 96-00 Civic LX decideds to rev on my friend Ashwin.  So we all follow him out onto the street because all he keeps doing is talkin s**t about how slow Mustangs are.  So Ashwin let's him get a 3 car headstart and by about the time Ashwin hits 75 he's 5 cars ahead.  The Civic then hits the flashers.  So I speed up from about 50 to 90 and fly by him with my bro following me.  When we got beside him at the light he said he would have won but his NOS wasn't working.   Does anyone else experience the cops following you around town waiting for you to mess up.
Fat nick..and what car do you have as your avatar???
The car in my avatar is a 2001 Sentra GXE.  It has a turbo and many other performance parts.  It's not my car but that is what my old car looked like except mine was white.  He's putting 192 whp at 8 psi in a 2600 lb. car.  I'm going to take a pic of my Stang once I get a hold of a dig. cam.

It's not NOS it's NNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! Really its called nitrous, NOS is a brand. Anyway, I think that all ricers will go burn in hell. Keep on showing them whose boss and mabye they will learn someday. Good kills.

actually NOS can stand for nitrous oxide system so its origins arent necesarily of the brand, but perhaps the brand was originated from the term

Very true, nice one playa, however having a sentra, namely a ricer (yes it is a ricer, think: it's a souped up sentra thats not an SER, and looks like it has a wing on it, dispite the turbo) as your avatar is contradicting to this entire thread topic, annoying ricers.  I think that a turboed sentra fits the bill.

the sentra with a  turbo is cool! It doesn't have stickers, body kit, (is that a wing on the back?) And it look like you may have lighter rims. Cool car. Just take the wing off, or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

yeah.. since we're on the topic of cops... It seems that cops really don't like me in my stang.   My first car was a slow-as-balls volvo 740... I would say I did about average with cops in that car... they let me off once in a while, but I got my share of tickets.

Next, I got a cadillac seville sts.. fast-as-balls car.. around the same time I got a crew-cut on my hair.. Now that somehow was a f**cking winning combination for getting out of tickets. It got to the point where cops would pull me over, and I'd just kinda laugh and say, yeah, I was really flying there, wasn't I?.... and get out of the ticket.. I'm talking 90 in a 40 and no ticket... 45 in a 20.. no ticket.. I was unstoppable... well, except for the trail of antifreeze and oil I left on the road behind me... :) Word of advice.. don't buy a cadillac with 100k mi on it!

Ok.. so now I've got this 03 GT.. and man.. cops don't like me very much. It's black with pretty dark (legal) tints.. So far I've been pulled over twice in this car.. The first time, he thought I was a columbian drug runner or something, and searched my car. Funny thing was I was on the way to a concert and had some s**t hidden in the car.. good thing he wasn't searching very thoroughly. :)... Then I get pulled over for 61 in a 50 coming down a hill, and sgt. dickhead gives me the ticket.

I still have the crew cut... I think it's time to formulate a new strategy.. maybe I'll get a big "I love cops" bumper sticker or something. ;-)

61 in a 50 and he's a dickhead for not letting you skate? If you're going to play (speed) you've gotta expect to pay (get nailed). The longer you play, the higher the chance of getting nailed. Don't cop an attitude with the cop for doing his job. I got nailed for 80 in a 60, but the cop was pretty cool. He probably could have hassled me and searched the car (close to the border, making good time, etc.) but he just wrote the ticket and sent me on my way.

HOnesty works best with cops. When you see them turn around, just pull over to the side have your stuff ready and get out on the fender. usually they will tell ya to get back in the car. Most times I have done this I get out of the ticket, especially if he doesnt get the chance to actually pull me over, I am already waiting for him. Oh yeah, if he doesnt know who the driver was dont tell him, and if he asks if you knew how fast you were going dont ask him how fast it was. If you ask its a sure fire ticket right there.. Why I dunno.. been pulled over like maybe 500 times, got 4 tickets in almost 20 years, not to bad I think...

Oh yeah ricers always have an excuse for losing. They just cant believe that they have a slow car and they are actually PAYING money for it when they could have had something nice fast and cool, instead of slow annoying uninteresting and noisy..

Adda wing if it looks fast then its gotta be fast. Whats an engine anyway?
